Moan-day Mischief by the weather

Don't get excited, I did have on my leash, Mama did a PicMonkey
enactment. she used a walking pic of me, a mirror shot of herself in the bedroom mirror and the flowers and frosted plant courtesy of PM free photos

Mama took a long time getting dressed this morning. She put on a shirt, TWO long bulky sweaters and the silly knit hat which I have never seen before. She said it had been in the drawer since 1989.

That was the last time we were this cold. The WEATHER is the cause of a Moan-day Mischief post. This is Florida, land of sunshine and warm breezes. We had no post and now we do.

She kept repeating to daddy IT IS 36 degrees out there. she tried to use this formula, (36°F − 32) × 5/9 = 2.222°C to figure out the C for some of you and gave up and looked it up online.  I must say, 2.222 sounds much colder than 36.

When we walked in the door, she was already talking.......

There is Frost on the grass, and most of the roofs. this was the worst walk ever. My pants were falling down because the elastic is worn out in your old sweatpants that I borrowed because it's too cold for leggins. My phone ways a ton and in the holster, it was pulling them off and I had to walk and hold onto an 80-pound dog holding YOUR pants up with the other hand, hoping that they did not fall off or that the 80-pound dog decided today was the day to not be a perfect walker and dash off.
Just tell me why Beau can walk bare pawed through frosted grass and enjoy it, no hat, no coat, just his own bare furs. He loved it.
I want my Florida Back

Well, that means Florida matches the Bonny Land - for now! Beau, you look just right for that cold weather and your 'bare furs' are all you need! (Note to mum - remember, that's why for so long hyoomons stole the furs off of critters to use for themselves...) Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

we love the picture of you two... and we agree... it is way too cold for winter... the mama found her gloves back she bought during a ski-catastrophe in 1992 LOL

I have several friends in FL:
Palm Coast and Venice they were both chilled to the bone several days recently.
This morning my friend in Palm Coast said it was 34 on the way to work.

Wow, that's REALLY cold for y'all! Sorry, but I had to chuckle, imagining momma holding up her sweatpants with one hand and your leash with the other.

By the way, your momma looks smashing in that knit cap!

I'm sorry, but I got stuck on the holding the leash and trying to keep your pants up. I had a visual. That's pretty cold, but if you talk to folks in snow country they are going to laugh at you and call it spring.

Have a fabulous day and week. Scritches to Beau. ♥

Well, I am glad that Beau got a fun new experience. It has been 7 degrees here lately! You were brave to go out, as you are not used to it, and it would be such a shock to your body. Now I wait to see if Beau begs to go out again in his new Alaska world.

Hello,

I hope you are warming up there, you are almost as cold as we are here in Maryland. But, we still have snow on the ground in places here. I wonder if Beau would like some snow. Cute image! Take care, enjoy your new week!

That is really cold for Florida. We do get some weather like that each Winter and sadly we lose some plants. That's rather interesting about the sweatpants but I understand why you wore them. Burr!!!

BRRRRRRRRR, that is too cold for Florida! At least Beau enjoyed it!

It's been in the 20s here in the morning which is MUCH colder than I'm used to but, like Beau, the girls love it!(Jakey tolerates it)

Florida sounds mighty nice, except when it isn't. Sounds like Beau can handle it all.

I love that picture. Our low was about 27 F last night, but it’s up to about 45 now. It will be back to winter soon, a high of 32 Thursday.

That is crazy cold for Florida!!! If Mom has a pocket in her pants (which she rarely does), she pins the waist super tight with a big old diaper pin:) BOL - we would love to see those pants slip down:)

AND your calculation of the Celsius temp is accurate!!!

Wow, it was really cold there. I don't know what the temp was here this morning but I know it was cold enough that I didn't want to be out there.

Oh, wow, Wat too cppld for Florida. We hope the farmers and their crops didn't freeze.
It was about 14F here early this morning, and did not get above about 20F. And we had an other 2 or three inches of snow on top of the dump we had yesterday, which was over 4 inches.

The snow pants and sweat pants I would be using have drawstrings which you can tighten at will to serve the purpose of keeping them where they belong...only don't tie a knot in them because when you get back inside and are in a hurry...well, um...you know! LOL!

Glad Beau enjoyed the coolness!
