Mama had to go to her bank. Behind the drive through ATM is the Goodwill Store. I have never seen it but she sometimes wanders through to see what is new.
She came home with the bed above. It is like new and would cost 100 dollars or so she says. She came in the door with it and said Daddy, look what I got for TEN dollars.
He was Unimpressed! and said something like Nice!
I LOVE IT! it replaced my red Kong Bed on Mamas side of the bed, that is where I sleep. She noticed I was not spending the entire night there and found it was sagging in the middle. She saw the PRICES and thought I might not be Worth That Much. My words not hers.
Now I sleep there all night long. she throws one of my soft blankets on it and no matter which way I turn I have a head rest. She says sometimes I lay with my head off on the floor.
the morning after my first night on the new old bed, Daddy went to the YMCA and I went over to lay on the rug by the door, which is where I lay until which ever one of them leaves, I stay there until that one comes home.
My pill alarm went off, she put the Christmas Movie on hold and could not find me. She had forgotten she threw the old Kong bed behind the sofa until she could take it to the trash bin. There I waited until Daddy came. home.
Odd thing is, she left it there for me and I have not been on it again. It has been there a week.
It goes to the trash today!
PS. She Said I sleep on it all night long! she is wrong. When we go to bed, I go in the walk-in closet and snuggled down on the bed in the closet. Daddy goes right to sleep, Mama read for a while. When she turns off the kindle, i get on the bed closet to her and then I sleep there the rest of the night.
I am thankful for my new bed, joining Brian's Home for
