Dan's Not so Feral , Feral Cat

Hi, I am Mama's angel, Big Boy, she asked me to tell you this is her son, Dan's Feral, not so feral cat. He had 3 of them captured, all just like this one, and you can tell by the clipped ear. That means they were spayed/neutered by the county and returned to Dan. they are 1 year old.
She thinks you will enjoy the video he sent her. This cat is half-sister to the one you saw yesterday.
We have good news, Baby Luna, the feral cat thrown away by its mom, has found a home with a couple who are members at the Yacht Club where Uncle dan and his wife work. Since the baby had to go to work to be fed every few hours, the lady saw her and had to have her.
She has moved into a nice home with lots of rescued cats and dogs.
Dan and Michelle have 3 cats 2 dog inside and 4 ferals outside, the one above is one of those four

CAT in our yard

We have had record breaking heat all last week. Thursday, May 30, Mama took the photo above at 3 in the afternoon, it says 102. At 8 pm it was still 97 degrees. The next morning, Friday 5/31, we went out the door and around the corner leaving on our daybreak walk.

We walked down by daddy's tractor that has never run in years and as I reached the trash can  I lunged forward and in front of the trash bin, almost pulling Mama down.

There we were nose to nose

this CAT, the one below, appeared on May 25th. you saw it here and a few of you said it looks hungry. Mama saw the neighbor black cat on our walk, twice, but it was a lot bigger.

May 25 visit to backyard and mama put water bowls in shady spots in
front and back yard.

Now the front yard shady space, don't worry the pan will not get hot, this spot gets zero sun and the bowl is insulated on the sides, is a cat watering hole with a side of tuna... She put the bowl out after our walk and we are watching and waiting.

Nothing happened when I lunched, the cat arched its back and stood its ground but made no sound. I backed up and we stood staring at each other. Mama talked kitty talk to it and it cried and talked in meow. We Wait to see what happens. We don't think its feral, it liked Mama's voice and did not mind me. or so it seemed. Cat was only about 10 feet from the bowl...we are getting dry food to leave out. tuna might rot in this heat

PS, she fills the bowl with fresh water twice a day and this morning it was half empty. At least some critter is drinking water... there are not many water holes for critters during drought

Heart Melter #2

I would like to ask all of you to keep reading when you see this badge. It means I am
ON THE JOB! As long as I keep my Viewer Measurement UP, I will get paid.
Nieslen has agreed to add me to their LIST, and I hope to measure up to the other.
 NETWORK TALKING HEADS!

I last reported to you that Zoe the Mastiff is in love with the tiny feral, now non feral, cat named Bandit. Mama says seeing them together makes her heart melt.
You might think Bandit is a male, SHE is. not. You might also remember Dan had a cat called Jesse James. The cause of this could be that my Mama is his Mama and Mama had/has an addiction to Western movies. We are thankful, Dan has officially adopted Bandit, and he has moved inside forever.

Bandit has her food and water on the kitchen Counter, We think that might be to keep the big OAF Mastiff out of it.

Bandit takes a nap on the counter by the kitchen sink

Watches TV from the breakfast Bar
and then hangs out on the top of the crate that keeps the big OAF Mastiff, Zoe out of trouble on as needed times. this makes the perfect place to HANG OUT and look adorable.

the Purrfect End to Feral Life in the outdoors. We will continue with sharing as the photos come in.
This will mean MORE TREATS FOR ME signing off as Beau Beaumont, Anchor Reporter

Dan and all his house and wife and babies and 2 trucks and outside ferals came through Idalia fine.
He put the outside ferals who really are REAL ferals because he can pick them up and hold them, in the garage while the storm was passing through.

Joining Thankful Thursday at Brians HOME where they know all there is to know about ferals. Pop over and say high and meet Seal, Simon, Brian, Kiki, Maxwell and Macy.
