Mama is Embarassed!

 

This is my Sunday Selfie and I am letting Mama have the blog today, she has something to say to all of you. 

Yesterday I said I could not remember the name of my Grand dog.

I recieved an email from blog friend Rose and she said, is our grand dog named Allie?

OMD! it is Allie! How could you remember her name?

Rose said, I didn't remember her name but remembered the story of when they got Zoe because Allie was broken hearted over her sister Bella going over the rainbow bridge.

How can this be Mama said, why did I not remember that story and search my own blog?

Photos are a year old, Zoe was born in 2020, and is a grown dog now..

I now have labels on Zoe and Allie and one named Grandpets because my memory is shot.

Mama got these photos from my human brother Dan. The text said

"The Eggplant is growing very fast. 

It closes at night and reopens in the morning. I think that's pretty cool. 

I never thought I would be so excited about a small garden in the backyard"

You can see how small they were a month ago and how big they are now.

The next text said

"The Marigolds have a skunky smell and Zoey has already tried to eat them!!"

Marigolds and mint are for bug repellant and the middle is a big Eggplant

Uncle Dan is Mama's youngest son. Zoe is 1 year 6 months. I am 8 and 6 months.

this is how Zoe says, this bed is king size but its all mine and I can prove it.

We are the same color, her head is bigger, and legs longer, my body is bigger.

We both like to do the same things.

she looks gray but a lot of my photos do also.. 

We have not met because I can't run and if she comes to visit I will run and act just like the Weims Brothers and hurt my hips... She loves to run and play. So do I but Mama says I can't.

You have met my Mama's Granddog Zoe, in prior Posts. She is now 7 months old and starting to look like a  mastiff. 

Mama says she is beautiful, but not MORE Beautiful that BEAU-tiful Beau.

She already weighs almost as much as me, and will be around 100 plus when grown.

Mama keeps singing a song, she says Jake and Big Boy and Me the Beau and now Zoe all had/have beautiful, beautiful brown eyes.

Mama said she thinks Zoe is my niece. Not my cousin. Zoe is Dan child, Dan is mamas child and I am Mamas child. so what is she to me?

Zoe is under the weather, She is now 6 months and 60 pounds. Dan took her to the bad place, sometimes know as vets office, and she got a big cut in her tummy.

Spayed is the word mama used. She also got some kind of tummy tack that is supposed to keep her from getting bloat.

Mama was not happy about that but it was done, so no need to fret. 

Any hoo she had a ton of stitches and staples and the dreaded cone for 10 days.

Dan stayed home with her for 5 days because she has to stay in a crate.

I wonder why? I don't have to stay in a crate.

I just have to share my Blog

with my cousins.

the good news is Allie lays by her and makes her feel better.

She stayed home alone yesterday, with cone, in her crate and did OK..

My question is, what do I care if she has pretty teeth, she is only 6 months old, I am 7 and miine are pretty too

I mean who sends teeth in a text????

PS from Mama. I created this on Jan 23, and kept bumping it. Zoe had a bad time, it got infected, and she had to go back to the vet 3 times and rounds of antibiotics. She got better but then day before yesterday she woke up throwing up and diahrhea... 4th trip to the vet. the think she ate something in the yard. Zoe and pawrentz need a little( POTP Power of the Paws}

today is thankful Thursday and mama said to tell you she is thankful Dan sends us pics and that the new boss of Dan and his wife, got fired and their jobs are safe for now.

She said to tell you she is thankful that all of our family loves cats and dogs. A Lot!

Yesterdays Post Grand Ferret? Cute Weasel? , you saw Buck, the Ferret and how my son found him in his shed. this is the Rest of The Story

I will use Son, DIL, Lisa. the three involved in many many texts. I recieved this message from my son a few hours after he found the ferret.

Son: We think he's the neighbors,catty corner from us. I stopped there at 3,nobody home. I'm getting ready to walk over there again in a minute. We have an extra cage for him for now. HE IS NOT staying very long!!!!

DIL: Mr Ferret is NOT staying! I hope these people with say it's there's. Daniel is walking over there now, keep fingers crossed.

DIL: NO ONE HOME! keep fingers and toes crossed, he finds the owner.

NEXT day! Wed.

Me:  Did the owners come home? 

DIL: No, no one home.

Me: On no, he sent the night? 

DIL:Yes, they sleep alot, up at dawn and again at dusk for a couple of hours each time. It went well, we kept everyone in bedroom with us last night.

DIL: No he is not staying. Lol

Dan tried several times, once he said someone was home but would not come to the door.

Son: Mom, I called the SPCA and we are taking Buck to them at 3 pm. The Boss has spoken, I can't keep him, he has to go today.

MOM: OH NO! Don't take him, let me ask around and see if any one wants it.

I sent text to Lisa, do you know anyone who wants a ferret?

LISA: YES! we want it, we have one and it needs a playmate.

ME: can you go get it today? it is 50 miles to where they live.

Lisa: YES! we will go today, what time

MOM: Michelle, dont take it to the SPCA, Lisa wants. it

Michelle: We are so HAPPY!!! they can come at 5.

I WILL SPARE you the zillion texts between Lisa, Michelle, Dan and Me. Sharing cell numbers and addresses and setting things up.

ME: What time did they get there. 

Dan: 4:30, we sat in the living room and they LOVED Zoey, and they stayed til 7. We had a blast!

SO MAYBE I SHOULD START A Meet New Friends? TEXT ME!

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO KNOW ME WELL, Yes! I freaked out that the four of them sat together in the living room which is tiny and no way to social distance and I KNOW IN MY HEART no one had on a MASK.....

Well, it was the end but them Mama got a new pic of Zoe, 4 months old and 40 lbs and Mama told her son Dan, he will not be picking Zoe up much longer.

But my 1st Cousin will be Bigger than Big and Bigger than Beau.

Zoe, 16 weeks old, 33 lbs growing to the tune of 3 lbs a week.

only one week between the above and the below, gaining at 3 to 4 pounds a week. She will be as big as Beau soon. Funny things is, Bob's daughter has 4 great Danes, David has the Great Pyranees, Dan has the Mastiff and Beau the Dane/Catahoula has US. We are Thankful our children love pets too.
