I guess I live in a dog-eat-ball world! |
In my basket, you will see balls ,a bone and an old worn shoe.
None of those will I ever chew.
Jakes shoe and Big boys bone and his big green ball,
I have never never touched at all.
The Kong is mine but I only chew when it is full of peanut butter
Put their for me by my mudder.
She knew I loved all things orange and round,
so a great BIG orange ball she found.
She kicked it for me inside
and she kicked it for me outside
I refused to chase it,
But I loved to taste it.
Now it lives all ragged and torn
On the high shelf in the closet all tattered and worn.
THIS POST was created on Aug ll and it was sitting with 8 others waiting.
And now since Daddy has been NOT Daddy it is no longer a true poem.
.
In the past he played with NOTHING but orange thing. I kept trying to entertain him and Friday I got out the ripped ball and wonder of wonders he loved it, Of course he loved ripping it, but when I tried to take it he Shocked me by playing tug, He pulled me all over the living room
First time ever playing tug, Saturday I bought at rope and not only did he play tug with me he grabbed it and acted like a REAL DOG! Throwing it in the air, whipping it around and then chewing it and chewing it.
Not playing with orange ball has its benefits.
