I miss my daddy, this is what i have done for the past 3 days, sit and look sad, I can see him on the sofa but something is wrong with him. He is not himself and Mama is acting wild and crazy and racing around. I stopped talking to her. all three of us were depressed and they did not sleep much, up all hours of the night
Today I talked again. From the time mama came home without daddy, I did not use my voice to direct my people on what and when they needed to do.
Day 4 daddy went to therapy and was told he is way ahead of the game, I want to know what game, because it is sure not MY games,
Mama explained that Daddy walked 87000 feet without the walker, aced all his exercises including 10 minute on a bike.
Mama said daddies knee laying flat should be 0 his was 4, flex bent should be 120, and Monday it was 100 and Wed it was already 105, she said this is rare this soon that most people start at 20 and have to work up to 120. Most people take 3 months to get to 120.
She told him when he hits 120 he is done with her. YAY
He was cleared to go outside and walk around the pool and MIGHT go on a cane on Monday. Daddy went out with me and I peed and peed and after that I got my voice back, I woo wooed every time I always did.
The good news is Daddy is MUCH better, he cooked his own breakfast today . As of 3 AM is off the Oxycodone Narcotic and on Tylenol. YAY he said NO to Drugs
Mama is still not back to normal, headaches and anxiety attacks She will UPDATE here. And may or may not comment. She is taking Daddy to Therapy 3 days a week. She fears she has Alzheimer's or a brain tumor.

I am so glad to hear your Daddy is recovering so well and so quickly. That is great news, your Mama should be very happy. I hope your Mama feel better, maybe the headaches are from worrying too much, things will calm done and be much better. Sending prayers and well wishes for all. HUGS, I hope your day is great.
It's great to hear your dad is doing so well after his surgery. We are keeping our paws crossed for all of you to help you get through this difficult time. We are also sending a warm hug to your mom that we hope will help with her anxiety. It always helps us to get a hug.

Your daddy's a Rock Star. When my son was down with a back injury they gave him Oxy but he couldn't stand the way they made him feel and threw it away after only a few days.
Given the stress of this last month, suppose mommie is suffering from a bit of PTSD? (I'm serious ...)
Around our house, stress, no sleep and head aches mean the blood pressure is out of whack (no brain tumors). We are glad Dad is doing better and soon the stress will ease, Mom's will sleep and the headaches WILL abate! Sending love, hugs and strength

Your daddy is so tough, you'll see it won't be too long before he can play with you again. And you mama has had a very stressful time, being in charge of everything, making sure everything goes OK. I hope she will feel better soon. Please let her know I'm sending lots of love to all three of you.

Beau, I think it will also be a stress release when Mommy is able to play and post again, and it won't be long because Daddy will not need so much help in only a few days!!

I'm very afraid that Mama has too much stress...but I know you are trying your best to help her with that! Daddy is doing great and that's a good report! You did good to keep us updated...give Mama a hug...or at least a lick! lol
YAY!!!!! I am SO happy your Pops is doin' so well!!!! Ma has been super duper buzy and missed most of the drama! It sounds like he is gonna be good in no time Beau!! As for your Moms, I bets its the stress of worrying abouts your Pops and doin' it all on her own ~ Ma sure does knows how that goes! she is sendin' your Moms and Pops lots and lots of POTP and healin' vibes! I am sendin' my margarita truck...that will help!!!! BOL!!!

That is fabulous news and that is because he exercises in the pool all the time. Just like I was saying how I had a bunch of therapy before my knee replacement. Hooray....I'm so glad to hear about his progress
That is great news about your Daddy, but don't let him overdo it. Poor Mom, she must be stressed about all that has been happening. we hope she feels better soon.

We are so very glad your Dad is recovering quickly, Beau. It must be hard without him throwing your ball and just being your dad. And we're also sure that your Dad is happy to be able to make his own breakfast, BOL! If we could make OUR own, the only thing we'd do different is add a lot more of everything! Our Mom says stress can make you feel like something bad is wrong with you, but it usually goes away when the stress does. She just went through that herself and now she' ok. XOX Lucy and Xena
I'm so glad to hear that your dad is doing so well. I'm sending healing prayers and special hugs for all of you to get back to normal life. In the meantime take it easy on your mom. Maybe give her a couple snuggles.
So glad your Daddy is doing so well. Give mommy an extra bit of hugging because she needs it after all this. Give Daddy a scratch behind the ears, or maybe that's for you. Not sure if Daddy would like that. Give both of them a lot of loving and you will get it back a hundred fold :) Big hugs to all of you.
