Do NOT touch the Orange Ball. This is how I look after my noon ball game each day. The Nooner is my 3rd game of the day, starting with the 1st one at 7 am. I come in, put mud on the floor, eat the ice Mama hand feeds me, and then I fall over for a while.
All 4 balls must be in my sight line but were out of the camera sight line.
Another storm at midnight Wed night and the 2nd was at 3:30 am Thursday. It lasted until 7:30 am. My walk time is 6:40 am.
Mama stood in the rain with sky blinking like crazy, standing on the rubber mat, hoping it would protect her, saying things like HURRY UP Beau, I don't want to die while you are doing your bidness.
If you are about to ask why she did no let me go by myself, it is because I WILL NOT go in the back yard alone. sometimes she mutters, JUST PICK A SPOT, they are all the same
I never do my bidness while walking. only in our yard.
I got it done, we did not get struck but then no matter how much I woo wooed and begged she would not go walking.
Guess what she did to shut me up.
She and daddy put me in the car at 7, and I got to ride in the rain, and get my head wet out the window.
We went to a big store, and Daddy stayed in the car with me, while Mama ran through the rain to return the rotten grapes that she bought.
A ride is great but I still want my walk.
the rain had stopped and Mama got out of the car in the driveway and told daddy to drive it in the garage and she would take me for a half walk. She was in a hurry because more rain was on the way.
She did not realize she had on her croc sandals until she got her feet muddy and wet in the grass and we had to come back and go in the house while she changed to walking shoes. Then she had to do her pee time and in Meantime the drizzle rain had started, we got wet, but did not die by lightning strike and mama says She wants Daddy to get TWO new knees because walking me in the storms is HIS job not hers.

Good grief, such adventures in dog walking. Makes me glad we have a cat. No offense Beau, I love you!

Crikey, it's a palaver, ain't it?! I hadn't thought about riding a car as a safety measure with lightning around, but then I read this...You can still be struck by lightning in your car, but you're protected from it. Contrary to popular belief, the reason for this isn't because cars have rubber tyres that insulate you from the ground. ... The reason you're protected in a car during a lightning storm is actually that the car acts like a Faraday cage. so I learned something because of your post today, Beau-boy!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
You are a lucky pup to have your mom!
That sounds like some adventure.
Hello Beau,
You are a lucky dog, going on a car ride and a walk in the rain.
Your Mama loves you! Cute photo of you napping with your ball close by.
HUGS, have a happy day!
Beau It is impawtant to protect things we that we love like Precious to us!
I want daddy to get two new knees too so he can do the things he loves again
Hugs Cecilia
You sure have a difficult time getting all your walks and "business" runs in between the rain and lightning, Beau. It was clever of your pawrents to take you on a car ride instead.
It is very i portent to have a ball schedule. Rain can be fun as it leaves big puddles to cool off in.
You're such a GOOD boy, Beau! I love how your momma and daddy love you ... even in the rain.
The rain and storms sure is messing with your schedule sweet Beau!
That sounds like a busy morning. Glad you got to go for the car ride and also a walk. Sorry about Mama's muddy feet.
Going on a car ride is always fun. You're with your peeps and that's the best part.
Have a woof woof day and weekend and don't worry, I'd never touch your orange ball. My best to your peeps. ♥
OH MY NO WONDER HE IS TIRED!
Never a dull moment!!!
xoxo,

Hi Beau! We are back, at least until the wind changes and the interwebs catches fire again!> Can you send us some of your rain? We sure could use it. Thanks so very much for coming to my birthday pawty at Ann and June's blog. We feel blessed that we have so many wonderful blogging furrends. And now that we are back, we would like to post your Joke on Monday....are you up for it?
I like how you layed out everything so clearly, Beau. I felt like I was there. And now I know how you feel about your pees and poops and walks and car rides. It's also clear how much you are loved.
I wish it would rain here, but it never does.
So is this what we're supposed to do to pee and poop, Beau? We just go out in the fenced in dog lot. Hmmm, more interaction with our Mom...hmmmm.
