Sept 8th Pet Memorial Day, Big Boy

I loved you from the moment I looked in your eyes, I loved you more when you climbed your 79 pound body on my lap as I sat on the bench watching you walk toward me at the shelter. I am so happy to have had you in my life for 2 years and that we were in yours for the last two years of your short life.
We loved you more when the first day, I stepped in the house and found you with a loaf of frozen bread in your paws and half the loaf MIA and in your tummy.
That was the only Bad Dog thing your did and it was not That Bad..

I still miss you, Mama's 1st Heart Dog Ever! We often wondered why you laid down so much, and had no idea you were dying from congestive heart failure when we rescued you from the shelter. You were and are in my heart forever...

BIG. Big, beautiful, best boy he could ever be. Meant to be loved, and was loved by so many. I often still scroll through my photos of you, now in the
Beau & BIG folder, but you also are in my "mind's heart" where you will be
forever.

Big Boy was so furry handsome! You know, Nut Case says he looks furry much like Reggie (the dog who lives up the street). Reggie used to bark like mad at Cinnamon when she walked by and Cinnamon would bark like mad back. Then Mom started barking at Reggie! He stopped barking and stared at Mom like she was crazy (she is but that is beside the point). And Mom told Reggie what a handsome boy he was and what a wonderful smile he had and what a lovely voice he has when he is not barking.
Well, after that Reggie only barks when Mom does NOT tell him "What a handsome boy you are! What a wonderful smile you have! and What a lovely voice you have!" AND he really likes Nut Case! He plays with her when his Mom lets him! So nice to see Big Boy and I bet he NEVER EVER barked at the neighbors! Thanks for visiting us and Keep being awesome! Marvelous Marv

Hi hi hi! Ojo here! Thank you for sharing these memories. If we're remembering correctly, Big Boy walked over the bridge about the same time as our Cobi. BB, you were very loved, and are still missed!

I've no doubt you gave Big the best two years of his short life. And now? I'll bet he's sitting 'up there' feeling proud to see this.
