Mama took me for a visit into procreate because she did not feel like taking new photos of me. She said she is sorry but 8 days of vertigo changed our habits. we hope we are back. she is good right now
While mama was stirring yogurt in dog food for my early a.m. feeding, I heard her say, On No, is that lightning? she told me the blinds were flashing lights from outside and we might not be able to walk at 6:30.
When she turned to walk my bowl over to sit it in the hole it fits in, she started to laugh. she said Oh Beau, silly mama, look at the Nook. The lights were flashing. The new nook lights have 8 different things they do and she keeps them on steady burn with the little remote.
She explained that the power failure the day before everything went down for 90 minutes and it must have messed up the setting. we did not get to walk because of her vertigo, but daddy walked me a half walk. I had a bad 8 days, mama managed to walk me 3 times but only half a walk, i only got a 10 minute walk each of the 8 days.. That's ok, she has now walked me my whole 30 minutes and done it well every day
I am so thankful I got half my walk every day but one when it stormed and that Mama is better and back to walking with me.

I am SO glad Mama is better. Vertigo is awful! It will even make you nauseous.
I'm glad your mom is feeling better and you can get a full walk. That's too funny about the lights and mistaking them for lightening.

Oh, those blinking lights/flashes would make me jump, too! One time we walked in the house and heard a man's voice coming from the family room -- I backed out so fast I nearly made Tom fall. Turns out it was the little man who lives inside the weather radio I'd forgotten to turn off.
Soooo glad your momma's vertigo has gone away, hopefully never to return.
