Yesterday da mama followed me around taking photos of me eating grass. She did not follow me just to get photos, she was waiting for me to throw up so she could see what was wrong. I woke her up at 2 am and asked to go outside, she watched me eat grass for 20 minutes. Usually that results in the throw up thing.
I did not throw up. At 10 am, she heard me hacking loudly in the living room and came to check on me, I was hacking but nothing came up. she thought I had something in my throat. we went outside and all these photos were taken while she followed me while I grazed like a cow for 35 minutes.
I never did throw up, and came in and drank a bowl of water. She gave me 2 unsalted saltines, which makes me throw up if I need to and I never did. I was fine the rest of the day and am fine this morning.
Did I ever tell you I refuse to drink water outside, I only drink from the bowl in the kitchen. Mama takes water and a bowl with us to the park, and in 2 and a half years, I have only drink water at the park ONE TIME and also, I have NEVER since I have been here pooped while on the leash. Strange, right?

Not strange- pooping should be a relatively private thing don't you agree? Mr T used to eat a lot of grass. Is you tummy feeling OK Beau?
Hello Beau,
I hope you are feeling ok! Your Mama loves you and wants to make sure you feel good. HUGS, have a happy day!
Oh my word Beau very thankful all is AOK with you today.
The photos are quite handsome

... is it possible the grass just helps settle an upset tummy sometimes? I know it most often leads to the "throw up", but think it can also do the other at times ... nice photo series of Beau, for whatever reason, he must have felt he needed some "roughage" in his diet!!!
What fun your mama has..
I hope your tummy is okay sweet Beau and I hope some of that grass comes up.
I must say that you look kind of sick, Beau. But maybe whatever you ate passed through. Did the other end look normal?
We like to eat grass too, but it doesn't make us throw up. Instead, we just have grass in our poop the next day. BOL!
Hi Beau,
I do hope you're feeling OK now.
Gail says her first dog, Hamish the Westie, never once pooped when on the lead in the whole ten years he lived with her.
Toodle-oo!
Nobby.
We sure hope your tummy is feeling better Beau.
All of the dogs in our history have had different water preferences. Dory, Jakey and Bilbo NEVER drank water while we were on a road trip, it used to drive Mama crazy. Arty would drink...no problem!
Sunny and I don't drink water in the car either...although we will drink it if we are at a park. The funniest thing is we won't drink water in CeCe if it is in "drive mode" (the slide in and usually in a rest area) but once we are parked for the night and the slide is out we drink like we are at home.
To each his own, right??

Both my J's enjoyed a bit of grass each day. Getting their salad greens, I called it. Once in a while there was a spew, but mostly not. But I understand why your mum is checking and making sure. She LOVES you and doesn't want you to be sickly at all. So forgive her noseyness, Beau boy! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
I didn't realize unsalted crackers can prompt an 'eruption'! More often than not I catch Macie Ann eating grass -- which concerns me.
Kitchen water's best, right? You're so cute!
Well I sure hope you're feeling ok. As for the habits, a dog likes what a dog likes and if it works for you then you gotta stick with it.
I hope you are all right now, and bless your mom for being so patient and loving. ❤️
Whenever our tummies are off, we do like to eat grass, and yep, it all comes bak up. If we have to poop while out walking, we do, but usually we just go at home too. As for water, yep, inside only. No matter how many times Mom puts a bowl on the deck, we are more likely to knock it over than drink it.

Happy you are okay Beau. We are creatures of habit, that’s what I keep hearing anyhow.
I wonder what that was about. Glad that you are okay.
I've been having a ball grazing on the tall straw grass (it's where a bale of straw was left last fall and now it's grass) and nothing's wrong, I just love the taste! XOX Xena
Chia: I want to eat straw grass, too!
Xena: Maybe Mommy will take you out o the lease to eat straw grass. You know what happens when you get loose!
