Feline Friday

Mama was in her chair, daddy was in his chair, I was on the floor.
The three of us were eating lunch.
Mama stares out the sliding glass door while she eats and watches squirrels and birds.
I heard her say, WHAT is that? she got up and went to the door and said, I can't see what it is, something is in the bushes moving up and down.
She grabbed the red Nikon and zoomed on the movement
and there he was.
Zoom in on his eyes, he has eyeliner on, and part of his ear is missing and now she knows that each morning when i go tracking in the dark I am
Lion hunting.

She thinks he is a feral cat that a neighbor feeds, because she said he has the tip of his ear missing.
Daddy said we will call him Romper, because he had a bad ass cat named
Romper that was battle scarred.
This post is dedicated to Brian, Simon, Seal and Tigger.
now we have a feral cat tooooo
Look above his good ear, that is the place where he knocked a slat out to make a door.
We wondered who built that door. We will leave it because I can't get out of it and he may need water or lizards to hunt for food.
YES, we do know he could climb the fence!
PS... Mama said his head was going up and down in the below photo because he was bathing himself in the sun puddle.

I hope he does well, and does not go running out in the street!

Hmmm, a cat in the garden? I shall need a bit of time to decide whether or not I approve of this new development...

I guess word got out that yours is a yard that is owned by an animal lover. He's found himself a nice little spot there.

Hello, Beau
Romper looks at home in your yard. He would not last with my two grand-dogs, they chase everything away. At least the kitty has a quick exit. HUGS, have a happy day!

Crikey though, Beau... what happens if Romper decides to stay? Do you need to set up negotiations??? Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

We have a stroll-by cat that F calls Leftie. She has blogged about him. He has an off the shoulder jumper with only a left sleeve in it. We haven't seen him for a while and he strolled by the other day looing incredibly thin. F thinks he has tooth ache and can't eat. He is friendly to her and likes to be patted and smoothed out, but he has gone from being a big strong cat to being a bag of bones. Now she is wondering whether she should poke him into a crate and take him to a vet before he gets any worse. The problem is that although friendly in open spaces he might not take to a crate or a vet.... her heart is hurting over Leftie because e was sort of the first feline to greet us here. And we have fed him when he's around and looked out for him ever since. So take care Beau - next thing you know someone will be wondering whether to take responsibility for your new stray. paw smacks Mr T

I never thought I'd ever see a cat on this blog, but today I did. It's purrfect. There are so many cats that roam around our neighborhood too. Most belong to someone and they just let them out to roam.

I linked this post to Feline Friday.

Have a woof woof Friday the 13th Beau. My best to your mom. ♥

He does look like he has this place memorized. I bet he is gone the instant he hears the door.

That's a darn good looking Romper kitty and yes, he's been fixed since he has left ear tip missing. He looks most cozy there!

Those eyes are beautiful! I love his name. Maybe you and he will learn to be friends?

I hope he becomes a friend to all!

Beautiful eyes! Hope it all works out okay with the cat handing around in the yard from time to time.

He looks quite at home there. He is most likely a TNR with that ear tip missing.

That kitty does have beautiful eyes. Maybe you two could meet and be friends some day.

Hi friend, Ojo here! A CAT!!!! I would not like a CAT in my Yard. But my person says "no chasing". He looks happy in that sun puddle though!
