All I want is a peaceful nap |
Found on Facebook
disturbing a person while they are sleeping
can increase their risk of permanent brain damage.
Is it true or just a myth?
PEE SS I stepped in a hole and stumbled, a tiny hole, while walking Sunday and now I am limping again. Will keep you posted. |

Oh NO! Well, you look extremely comfortable where you are, glad you have such a comfy spot to rest and recuperate.
we think that is true... let sleeping dogs lie was the motto in old times ;O)
Oh dear Beau, you must be very, VERY careful where you put those precious paws. We hope your limp gets better soon.
I don't know about disturbing a persons sleep but it sounds like a good excuse to keep someone from interrupting a perfectly good nap.
Hello beau,
I hope you feel better, sorry your paw is hurting.
Cute photos of you napping. Take care, stay well.
HUGS, have a happy day!
That facebook thing is definitely true for cats, so I reckon it's true for dogs. It doesn't stop me disturbing the sleep of my humans if I want something (food being the primary objective) though. They should think of my needs before they go to sleep. paw smacks Mr T
Just take it real easy, beau, and listen to.Mama.

Oh Beau boy, you are high on my POTP list again! Do step carefully...
Now as to that other rather serious question - the sensationalist headline is just that. However, it comes out of some element of truth in so far as disrupted sleep is fraught with multifold consequences... (That's a very good paper, worth reading!) Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Don't know about brain damage to the person awakened but I bet the person doing the waking might get a bop on the head.
Healing purrs for your leg
Hugs Cecilia
Mama looks obsessed with a wonderful obsession!
Oh no on the limping again. You take care of yourself and do what mom says.
Have a woof woof day and rest of the week, Beau. My best to your peeps. ♥
You just take it easy and get all the naps you need.
You look so comfy.
Hope your paw feels better...
Your Mama loves you. That's why she takes so many pics. of you..You are beautiful!

Oh! Oh! We are purraying for you Beau! And Mama, EVERY PICTURE tells a story!
Oh Beau, I'm so sorry you're hurting once more. Hope you feel everyone's prayers and good thoughts!
I had to chuckle about the risk of brain damage. The first thing I thought of is sleep-deprived parents with a brand-new baby. Remembering 1970, I was a walking, talking zombie.
You can't believe everything you read on the internet, especially Facebook, Beau. BOL! We have our paws crossed and hope you stop limping soon.
Aside from looking pawsitively handsome and adorable on your comfy couch, you are doing exactly what your leg needs - resting!!!

Lady disturbed me on the weekend Beau, I feel you pain! She is lucky she didn't get damaged. Lee for Lee and Phod
We're so sorry you found that tiny hole and stepped in it, Beau. We thinks holes are more a danger to you than permanent brain damage, BOL! XOX Xena and Lucy
The risk of brain damage isa lot higher if the sleeper has a heavy object close to hand.
Dang Beau, I'm so sorry you hit a pothole, get plenty of rest sweet guy.
I'm so sorry about your accident. I hope you heal soon.
So sorry about the hole you stepped into. Hope you're better soon. Just rest up for now.
