Day Eight part 4

Mama was in her chair, Daddy was in his, for half and hour I wandered past their legs, I stopped once in a while to get my furs ruffled and petted, but this time was special and Mama and Daddy laughed and laughed. Just wait, you will see why.
I headed west

I headed East

I headed west again

I headed East and SUDDENLY

I LEAPED INTO THE AIR AND SNAPPED A BEE AND SWALLOWED IT. Daddy laughed, Mama Did not. She said Don't Laugh it could sting his mouth and make him swell up and choke to death.
Always Always My Mama Frets over me.
I AM FINE Daddy said so...

Super cool look as you are zeroing in on the buzz Beau. What's the appeal? I got stung a couple of times by our bees and approached them cautiously after that. One of my feline predecessors in F's home used to catch flies in his mouth, make a cage out of his teeth with his lips curled back, and carry theem about in his mouth savouring the buzz. Weird. I'm glad you're all right. I would be concerned like your mom...I don't like being stung.

Well Beau it is great news that you are up and about and your reactions are undiminished. But please be aware that bee stings are not recommended treatment for either dodgy joints or post-anaesthetic recovery!

Oh no, Beau! Stay away from those nasty bees, they can hurt you.
I am glad you are ok, take care. HUGS! Have a happy day!

OMG, that last picture is really something. Your mom caught that at the right moment. I'm glad you were ok. Getting stung in your mouth would not be a fun thing.

yeah, I'd be worrying like mum, too, Beau boy... maybe the bee got such a shock it couldn't do its stinging thing... or maybe it was just a fly mimicking a bee? Either way - I am glad daddy was right on this occasion - (he WAS right, wasn't he...)! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

Bee stings can be harmful...are you still on meds and the mend?!! Meds & bee venom don't mix.
Why didn't that lizard eat the bee?...shirking it's duty.

Just bee OK.

Oh, Beau, Delta does the same thing. I hope neither one of you have a sting and a bad reaction to it. BTW, do they taste good?

Oh Beau, that could end up Beeing a big problem pal, stick to some treats instead. Maybe your Mom could toss you some and you could catch them.

I'm having trouble making out this last photo on my little cell screen -- but not the expression on your face, Beau. Great timing on that shutter, momma!
