Two meds, endosorb for nausea, and marrowpitant for diarrhea and it forms stool.
At 11:45 i gave him one of the E and 5 of the M.. he took them by dipped in peanut butter. with int 15 minutes he stopped pacing, laid down on the sofa and slept until 3:45 when I woke him up to see if he would eat, had no food for 2 days. He ate 2 spoons of the below rice, veggies and chicken stew. and slept until we got up at our normal time of 3:30. He did not get up to go out and I made him get up at 5 am and gave him 1/4 of can and 6 pills, one was his gabamentin. Took him out and he did his thing, stool is still really loose but only once.
He is still sleeping out his exhaustion.
He will conintue for 48 hours on the RX food and the pills..
thank you all for your love and care and suggestions and emails and for being there in my need and thank you Ann for the email that added about 10 bloggers comments from people we do not know...
I slept for a 2 hour nap at lunch time and slept good until 1:15 when I heard him move from closet to living room. After that I slept lightly because I was listening. I feel much better and am calming down a little.

I DO hope a full recovery is in store soon. Poor fellow. And I know when he suffers, you suffer.
Be well Beau.
So glad yo have bothbgit some rest. Just do glad.
We love you Beau. Get some rest and feel better super soon.
Prayers continue for you Beau. Get well soon so mom and dad can rest. Big healing hugs all around. ♥
This may be like "baby steps", a few steps forward ... fall flat, start over. It seems there is a lot, an awfully lot ~ in his entire system: the new foods, the new meds, etc., that his body is trying to adjust to. It's a lot all at once, especially remembering for the most part, until recently, he's been strong, active, with no big health issues. Physiology is strange, but hopefully he is working through all that's happened in the last week-plus. Mom needs rest also, though hard when worrying so ... prayers & paws together for ALL of you.
Luv, Hugs.
I think I read he was getting better, but the bottom of your post confuses me - did he get sick again? You sound exhausted. I know Bob is and Beau!
Prayers.
This is so encouraging. Baby steps.
Love this picture of him sleeping with his head on the pillow.
Please, don't go neglecting your own sleep. Everyone's still holding you ALL in our prayers!

Good news, but still nervous!! Hopefully he will get better gradually, and there willonly be fewer and fewer rough patches. You need sleep mre then he does at this point.
We are keeping our paws crossed for Beau and hope he feels much better soon.

so painful...I hope you all can rest and build your strength again. Thank goodness for that digestive care food...sounds like it has been a miracle worker.

If Beau can rest well now, that will be as good for him as any medicine - as we all know who have to make any recovery. Rest is best - though the special food and pills will aid that. Here's to ever upward from here. Huggies from afar. YAM xx
Thanks for the update. This is good news. Now is time for all the family to rest.
Crikey Beau, i have to eat that stuff (cat version) for dickey tummy. F reckons the painkillers and antibiotics caused my tummy upset (the vomiting bit) and the cure for the vomiting bit messed with my bowels.... So you have my greatest sympathy and i hope you don't have to eat science food for too long; it's pretty boring stuff aye? Fine when you're sick and anything makes you think you'll be sick again, but it can't compare to roast chicken (or peanut butter if that's what floats your boat). You have to snuggle up to your human now and encourage her to get some sleep on the sofa or something. They get a bit stumbly after a few days of watching our every move (or movement) and lack of sleep. Paw smacks Mr T
Beau is a lucky guy to have his owners being proactive.
Time for Mom and Dad to take time and rest.
So sorry to read this. I know what it's like when our beloved animals are not well. We have spent nights awake sleeping on the floor with cats before now. Let's hope the pills and the new food work. I'm as upset as you over this, poor Beau.

So happy to hear he is doing better and I hope he keeps getting better each day.
So an email added comments for other people? I wonder how that happened.
Hi friend, Ojo here. Many more licks and wags to you and your person. You are so lucky you have such an amazing human to take such great care of you! I hope your tummy keeps feeling better!

Love you Beau please feel better soon! My pawrent reads me your blog all the time and today she said I could send you good wishes. I eat that kind of food too when my belly is upset. Your friend, Griffin the Boxer
So glad the meds were effective ! Purrayers that he continues to get better !
Anything is an improvement, and glad you are sleeping whenever you can. When Riley was having the explosive diahhrea (not sure I even posted about that, there was so much else going on then) our holistic vet prescribed him "Rx Clay." He got it 2x a day, and it did the trick. She said to keep it for if he had another bout. If you wanted to check with your vet to be sure it's ok for Beau, you can order it from Chewy.com. Don't know if Amazon has it or not. Now to figure out what to do about his other problems...
Still praying for y'all!
