I love my squeaky red Giraffe. I heard mama say when she took this photo that it makes her sad to see me chewing not walking and running...
this post was created on Nov 1, our world turned upside down. He has not touched Squeaky since we left him at the vet all moring in a crate where he was knocked out and tortured.
We are all doing well, the stress of the past few days has him with diarrhea for 3 days, the night after he came home. Today I went to the vet and picked up some syringe full of nasty smelling gel to shoot down his throat to stop the tummy problems.
We will be ok, just will have to adjust to what he can and can't do. No more walks except to go to bathroom, no running, no orange thang.
we are now processing how to get him in and out of the car with out doing harm, using a towel to lift his butt. I want to get a way to give him rides since he can't do anything else. Yesterday some did not realize he is already on the three treatments that the vet suggested. Has been for a month. We will not be doing the surgery, but will do the wait and rest and follow what the vet thinks is best for Beau..
Unless i have something to tell you we will be quiet on this blog. I have 2 in drafts I will post soon.
We are going to lick this and give him the best life ever, and will make sure he feels no pain

If anyone can get him better, YOU can! Yes, I was one of the ones who did not realize he was already taking the recommended drugs. I hope that syringe of goo worked!
Bless you for taking such good care of him. It breaks my heart too.
Our thoughts are with you and Beau. Kia kaha stay strong.
Beau already has his best live ever with you. That is quite clear.

Could Bob manufacture a trailer ramp for Beau? A folding board much like is used for wheelchairs on steps? If you have a look at Sophie's ramp (in France) you will get the idea. Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx
We send you lots and lots of AireZen and healing vibes, Beau, and huge hugs for your peeps♥
I have no doubt that Beau will get the best and most loving care while he recovers from this.
Hello, Beau
It goes without saying, your Mom will give you the best and happiest life ever!
I hope the meds do give you relief from the pain. Using the towel for the butt lift sounds like a great idea. You will find a way for some car rides. HUGS, sending healing thoughts and prayers.
OMD! I have been so distracted with my son in the hospital plus doing 2 people's jobs at work that I missed all this. Poor, dear, sweet Beau. Sandra, you're the best dog Mommy in the world. If anyone can pull Beau through this, you can. Many prayers for you both. Amy

We are sending Beau our very best healing purrs and POTP as well as lots of love. He is so lucky he found you, because we know that you will take the very best care of him, and give him lots and lots of love.
If this helps Tuiren (the Beagle) had/has an ACL injury. We choose not to do surgery and she is walking and running fine now. She took Gabapentin and Carprofen (it required drug monitoring). She isn't taking anything now and doesn't appear to be in any pain.
Using the towel as a sling is a great idea! And I sure like the looks of Sophie's ramp. (Do-able?)
Still praying for all y'all.
Praying for you all! xo
We're all sending prayers too, we're most worried.
PRAYING!
Purrayers, POTP and Moose Magic for all of you.
We just stopped by to look for an update. Hugs.
We are so furry sad and we will continue to purray for Beau and you and Dad. We also send you virtual hugs and strength.
