I came, I munched, I Licked Kicked Grass!
Our backyard is fenced, to keep me safe. We don't have a lot of grass but what we do have, Daddy leaves it grow tall in patches like you see here. this is my favorite grazing spot.. Shady and the grass is oh so tender.

Beau, I thought dogs only ate grass when they are sick, to make them throw up! The ferns are so pretty, please don't munch those...

I thought the same thing Ginny did. I don't think I've ever seen Gibbs eat grass. Must be ours isn't tasty like yours.

Oh yes, angel Jade enjoyed grass, too. Most vets agree that eating grass probably helps soothe a dog's upset stomach. ... In dogs, eating grass may have the same effect in acting as a 'natural antacid'. Most dogs appear to feel better after eating grass, but this relief is often temporary as most dogs vomit afterwards. So they are not actually eating to make themselves sick, but in some cases that is what happens. And in Jade's case, quite often did - but then she used to eat a whole lot. I sometimes thought I had bought a cow by mistake. Part of her problem was that she ate her food too quickly - and this was the days before those tricksy bowls to slow food intake existed.

We are wondering what type of grass you have in your backyard? Gail remembers that the sort of grasses she saw in Oklahoma were coarse compared to the common lawn types in the UK, and not at all tender. (Not that she ever tried to eat any of course).
So you eat the grass?

Okay, I'm like Ginny and the rest. It doesn't make you sick, Beau? I think Mr. Tom is sorry we have so much grass that needs cutting ... seems like every other day. You're more than welcome to come dine at our table!

We like to nibble on the grass in our yard too. You have to pick the right leaves though.
It sounds perfect. Our Skye didn't even know what grass was until Mark started taking her for walks.
Sometimes you need to much on the grass. I'm glad you can, Beau.
