Throwback Tuesday Tales

Beau Here, to give this post One Paw Up Only, because it is NOT ABOUT ME.

Mama took two days off from her blog, and because I can't type, I had to take the days off too.
While Mama was looking through 87 thousand photo albums. she found Angel Max Baby Book.
or so she says.

Max was Mama and Daddy's first dog together. Not first dog EVER, just the two of them as pawrentz.
Mama rasied him and his siblings from the time they were 12 hours old.

Above is Max at 8 weeks on the left side and 1 year on the right. Yeah! Yeah! so he brought the paper in every night. I could but we don't get a newspaper. His ball is not as pretty as my Orange thang.

The crate was home made because they had no money to buy one. The story goes, he chewed Mamas shoes and they left him in the bathroom while they went to work. He chewed a HOLE in the bathroom door. Ever After he stayed in the crate when home alone. BUTT only for the first year until he learned to be a good boy like me. Daddy gave him his first bath SITTING in the Tub with a DOG.
Below he is dancing with daddy wearing Daddy's old Cowboy Shirt and holding Ellie in him mouth.
Mama said he kept Ellie even when she was a rag, until he died at age 16.

My heart! That's a great looking crate; probably sturdier than anything you might buy. Sorry, but I laughed out loud at Max having chewed a hole in the bathroom door. You'd never do anything like that, Beau..... would you?

Love the pix of your daddy in the bathtub. I think there's a picture of my son doing the same thing with their first cat. She was not amused.

Flashbacks are a good thing. It's good to remember our babies from the past. All so precious.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches to Beau and a hug to mom. ♥

Oh, Beau, it is wonderfurs to see the earlier generations of your parents hearts... you carry the lamp now, but I can see that Max was an equally handsome and worthy boy! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

What a lovely trip down memory lane even if it only included one picture of your paw, Beau.

What wonderful photos! Memories of Befores are always terrific and when you can share their pictures it is MARVELLOUS!
We have been having some difficulty commenting. We THINK we have left one and when we go back and look, we don't see it. You blog is one, we hope our comments today sticks. Mom has changed her browser to see if that works. Marv

Mom says her parents used carton boxes for crates for the puppies. We don't use crates now, but when we did, Misty and Timber liked them. Lightning has NEVER been crate-able:(

We thought this must be Grinch day, you're so green, Beau. We know that the dogs our pawrents loved before us help them to love and appreciate us too. PeeS: Max sure was a cute puppy.
