(Wipe The Mud Off The Mouth Of The Mutt!)
My mouth is now, so nice and clean,
in this photo you can see just what I mean.
I have been told by people I love,
My giant sized jaws can make more mud, than can heaven above.
This BEAU-tiful Face
is in just the right place,
for black sand and slobber
to make enough mud to house a dirt dobber.
I run fast and I pant, causing floods of slime
to mix with black sand and make my mouth shine.

Each time this happens, daddy washes my ball,
puts it back in my mouth, walks to the door and gives me a call.
With the command of Stay,
He pulls my ball away
He wipes the mud slobber from each side of my mouth,
while I do Stay, with my butt facing South.
He opens the door, and says OK
In the cool house I lay,
like I am made of clay.
And Then with a Grin
Mama Sits Cell phone on the floor
and the clicking starts, feels like for evermore.

That is some routine you go through. Better to do that than get mud slobber all over the house though.

That's a great poem about your mouth cleaning routine. We have a similar routine for our feet after we've been outside.

Oh dear Beau...Angel Madi HATED x 87 to have her face wiped off. Mainly I was trying to get itty bitty pieces of canned food out of her glorious Whiskers.
Finally I learned to keep the wet towel near her face and she would turn it.

HEY BEAU!!! Sorry I haven't been around to see your adventures lately, butts I told Ma that I had to catch up and see all the funs you've been havin', and WOWSA! I gots to come move in with you! BOL!!! Oh, and Ma had what she calls 'the beard towel' to wipe my beard after I gets a sloppy drink of water (hopefully befores I shake and gives her a 'beard shower' 🤣)

Nice poem, Marv. If you need some mud, head over to our yard. We have been so inundated with rain for weeks now, that the yard is like a swamp. For the MOST part, we have been pretty good about staying clean, but once in a while, that digging urge is too powerful:)
