The Wanderer

No one knows the exact date I turned into a DOG. Approximately 2 weeks ago, I began to sleep in the sun, wander in and through and around the yard, if daddy is out, I am too.
Before I turned into a dog, I stayed in the house except for Ball Games and Business!
I lay on the pool deck and watch daddy. Mama said they were worried because all the other dogs did this.
Reminder Doc Seuss day is coming.

You still have time to play, and You have 2 days to say what you want to say....

I lay on the deck, I lay in the dirt, I lay on the ground.
I wander in, I wander out, I wander and wander all around and around.
I bark to go in, I bark to go out, I bark and bark so happy I feel like I could shout.
I wander in the dirt and I wander all about.
Just pop a hat on your head, and a hat on a dog,
Take a selfie or ussie, while walking your dog.
whistle a tune, get bopped on your head,
and remember this, is what I said.
Ball IS Life

Mama and ME, we are ready as you can SEE
Get on the ball, Get ready You-All

PEE  SSSS the only thing that has not changed in the 4 months and 2 weeks I have been here,
Is the snick, snick snick which is the sound of
The Lady With The Cell Phone.

Beau the Beautiful,
the big and the bold,
knows how it is a
tale should be told.
Weaving with words
while watching the birds,
whether at sniff or play,
the message does lay -
and the wonder is this,
that which keeps us agog,
oh yes, yes indeed,
however, it is you've become a dog!!!

Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

Beau, we are so happy that you are enjoying the opportunity to be a Dog. And we love this post, and YAM-aunty's poem too.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
PS When Gail reads about Dr Seuss on our friends' blogs, she always regrets that he was not part of her 1960s childhood in England.

You and momma are making this holiday sound mighty tempting! The only thing, I don't remember reading any Dr. Seuss -- I probably thought he was annoying. (Not so much, YOU!)

Beau maybe you were waiting for the REAL Florida heat to arrive.

Your Seussical verse is fun Beau. I, Mavelous, believe you were always a dog, you just had to feel comfortable enough ti be yourself! It took more than 4 months after I came to Canada for Iran before I began to act more like a cat and I am still a work in progress. And as a bloggers pet, the snick, snick is part of life!
