White Tile & Tears

Thank you for being here with me and for grieving with me. Your comments on my two blogs, were like salve to my heartbreak. Thank you to all of you for loving my dog with me, for caring so much that he is gone. I will get back to your blogs soon. I love you all...

I have never cried for a whole day. Usually I cry a few times and stop. Friday  I cried from 3:30 am until I went to bed, unable to talk to anyone. Saturday, I did just OK, but the torrent of tears stopped. I spoke to several friends on the phone.

Today the torrent of tears is back. Bob asked what now? I said White Tile, we have acres of it and Bob was cutting my hair and the white tile had no black Big on it. For 3 months he was never out of my sight. Now is is out forever.

The empty while tile floor is crushing my heart.

we need some of your POTP for Rascal, he belongs to My friends Jackie and C.C.
He goes back to the vet tomorrow for a decision to be made.

. He is very ill and needs POTP. They think he was bitten by a spider or even a snake.
They took him to a vet more than a week ago, and that vet said nothing to be done, he is full of tumors, one in his throat and there is no hope.
He got worse and Jackie decided to get a second opinion, Blood work showed perfect health and no reason for the swelling...Below phots after 4 days on meds, down but still swollen.

Below is my Daddy's Grand chicken, his daughter lives in Jacksonville and has 22 chickens, most of them the exotic kind...

What a great title ..... and the accompanying photos perfectly underscore your heartbreak. (Ours, too.)
I'm not sure what POTP stands for, but lifting my prayers for Rascal and his family. Thank goodness they thought to get a second opinion and he'll be able to fully recover.
Hugs!

We sure understand the heartbreak all too well and when you fight so hard it seems like such a defeat. Big touched so many of us in Blogville and we're so glad you shared him with all of us. Hugs.

I sure understand the tears...Big was just that...Big of Heart, Big of Love--there may be other dogs that are as good as him. But none any better.

Big Boy was worth all the tears in the world. Like I said earlier, only the good die young. I hope you are all cried out now, you don't want to get a sinus infection. This poor dog is so badly swollen. Maybe once the venom works out of his system he will start getting better. This chicken looks painted by school children.

Sending you continued hugs and understanding. BB was your furry 3rd son...
it is a huge loss...do what is good for you. Take time to heal....it is a process. After Madi's passing I decided she would always be on my blog somewhere, header, flashbacks whatever.....each time I post a photo of her it gives me a happy memory. Everything our precious, crazy diva cat did something we smiled even at her mischief. That is a handsome chicken

Sending lots of prayers for Rascal.

Hello,

Sending more hugs and my prayers for Rascal. It takes time to heal, then you will look back at the happier memories. I think of my Goldie Girl often, I still miss her. Take care!

Bandit, my hound dog mix got bitten by a rattlesnake. He had been vaccinated, but he still swelled up and looked like a bloodhound that had been hit by a truck. He survived and I hope Rascal does too. Sending lots of love to that poor little thing.

And I have never in my life cried so much for a dog I had never met and for a friend I had only met on the blogs. I think that says something about who you are, what a big heart you have, how kind you are, and -- well, you know what I'm trying to say here.

I am crying for you. I didn't realize how very much I loved your sweet Big Boy. I am so very sorry for you and Bob Sandra, so very sorry.

I know how the crying goes. If only words could make it better.
So sorry to hear about Rascal. Sending prayers for him.
That is some fancy looking chicken

Oh, your words are breaking my heart! I am so very sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine how hard it is right now. Just when you think you can step away from the kleenex box, something happens, and the tears start flowing again. All I can say, is we are all here for you, and soon those tears will be replaced by smiles and laughter at the memories of your sweet boy.
{{{{{hugs}}}}}} and AireZens coming to you and Bob. ♥♥♥
Kisses,
Ruby and Ma ♥

I know, I'm there with you....
I don't think I ever missed a dog as much as I miss our Skye. I think maybe because my life was busier then and now she was my everything, everyday!

Poor Rascal! Maybe she needs to go to a 3rd vet, cause it sure doesn't sound like the first one knew what he/she was talking about and the second one couldn't help.
That is the most beautiful chicken I ever say.
Hang in there, and cry when you need to.

Your writings touch my heart. We will pray for Rascal. I met a tiny dog and her owner in a vet's office a few years ago. She was attacked late at night using the potty outside. Her mom thought perhaps a racoon. That little girl was torn up badly and she survived. She had an attitude, no intruder can come in my yard. I will protect it. Oh my goodness, I love these sweetheart phamily fur babies. LOVE & HUGS
