Cat Tale Bigogram by Big

The Cat we see in our neighbors yard, has been missing for 3 days. We thought the coyote got it.
Friday morning, she was back sitting in the driveway. Mama said "Oh Look, CAT is back"

I glanced at her and kept walking and acted like she was not there. I heard Mama say "Big just looked at CAT and did nothing. This is the first time ever, he totally ignored  CAT...

I did not even ask for a treat.  (note! when Mama sees a CAT she says it in caps so daddy can here her)

So what is the big deal? I have been Conditioned by Mom and now I just keep walking when I see a CAT.. I heard Mama say " we shall see what we shall see if Cat runs across the road in front of us."

Because as long as squirrels are just playing and sitting and eating, I ignore them completely UNLESS they run across the road in front of me.  I rode to the gas station with Mama and daddy and I am the best rider ever.. BUTT suddenly racing along the road beside us was a squirrel, if the window had been open wide enough I would have jumped out... Must be the running thing that bothers me.

Thursday Night I rolled off the sofa in my sleep, THUMP right on the floor. As I laid there looking up, thinking what happened? I heard both pawrents laughing like crazy. So what is funny about that???

You missed your calling as a professional dog trainer.

Hmmmmm, I am wondering if that tendency to follow little running critters might be an explanation as to how it is you ended up needing a new home, BB? Luckily you are now with peeps who can handle that and show you different ways! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

BB you must have some sight hound DNAs...only reacting when the object of your attention moves. Good for mom helping you learn not to react.
FYI: cats and squirrels are good at taunting Pups. They know you can't climb a tree

I wonder if the cats and squirrels' movement isn't unsettling.
Speaking for myself, there's nothing particularly scary about a mouse … but seeing something scurrying like that and I'd be standing on a chair before you could say 1-2-3.
You're such a GOOD boy, Big!

Our Hachi has a squirrel obsession, just like you Big! But he has never rolled off the couch in his sleep. That must have been hilarious!

Good for you not reacting to that cat.
I know falling off the couch doesn't seem funny to you but Gibbs has done it a couple times here and I find it very funny

You must be part terrier. We chase anything that moves! We do lunge at cats to try to get them to move, though. And just ignore the peeps. They laugh at the most inappropriate times.

You are one patient puppers BB! I would have barked at CAT anyhu! BOL! Butts then, I am a terrierist, and, well, it's our job. ☺
Sorry abouts the couch dude....peeps can be SO insensitive....;)

Ruby ♥

Just wait until one of your peeps fall down - you can laugh and laugh at them, and they won't be able to be mad. Lucy and Xena Pee S. We love to chase squirrels.
