| Jake Friday 8/7/2018 |
Jake continues to pace and pant, last night he paced/panted his path for 3 hours and 20 minutes. Back and forth until he is exhausted. My heart hurts because he wants to lay on the sofa or in his chair and can't. Even with his Carprohen and calming treats, he just can't lie down. He will lay down for 30 seconds and move to the chair, lay down and move to the sofa, up and down the hall.
He slept well from 8 to 3 with one coughing spell at midnight. When he got me up at 3:15 I walked down the hall and he always follows me to the door to go outside. I got to the door , he was not with me. He was jammed between my beside table and the bed and could not back up. I had to remove the heavy lamp, all the junk and pick the table up to move it. He was barely able to circle and when he followed me was very slow.
This morning I looked up two near by Veterinary ER and found there are 3 with in a 6 minute drive. The numbers are posted on the fridge now....

I get so scared when I find a new post on here. Never know what has happened next. You are his very own ANGEL. I'm glad you have the vet E.R.'s so close for sure.
Poor old fellow. Good to have the ER numbers at hand. Just keep pluggin' along Jake. We're sending you (and your family) hugs.

You know my prayers are with you, Bob and Jake. The pacing is so sad. I feel so bad for him. ((Hugs))
