We had a CODE RED Sunday....See that pot on the stove? Don't get upset, no fire was involved. Just lack of WATER.... Mama is boiling water for me to drink in that big pot.... I am fine, if you want details, POP OVER TO MAMAS Blog

Gail just read your Mama's post and is now wondering if Scotland has an equivalent to your Code Red.
Nobby is thinking boiled water must taste very boring and would prefer a nice drink of dirty ditch water.

We read your mom's post, and our mom went and checked on our local Code Red system. It appears she had already signed up for it but can't remember when. We're glad to hear you have water to drink now and hope the boil water alert is lifted soon.
Code Red is a good thing. Knowing what's going on is a great thing.

We have our moments! I walked outside to go for a ride the other day and realized I didn't have my shoes on until I got to the car. I also lately have been forgetting to turn off the stove top, which is a good reminder for me not to do that again, until the next time that is. I check every night on my rounds. Are the doors locked, outside lights on, switches turned off on stovetop and oven. I read your mama's post. Glad she didn't have to use her fire blanket. I haven't either, touch wood!
