I can tell you I loved the Home inspector for home owners insurance that came to take pictures under all of our sinks, 2 baths and kitchen. I watched mama cleaning under all the sinks and thought she had lost her mind. Then the Inspector/Photographer came and took 24 outside and 8 inside photos and he said he knew nothing about dogs and that I looked Intimidating.
I wandered over, leaned on his legs and he said Oh Beau you are nothing but a big Baby. I like to think of myself as a cross between Baby and The Intimidator...

Mama signed all the papers, paid all the money and new insurance is active Monday June 10, BUTT we now wait for the final walk around the outside visit from insurance inspector to say if anything needs to be repaired. Mama is seriously in meltdown mode because of Trees, a rotten post, a rotten fence etc...We do have trees in the front to the left but she did not want to get run over standing in the road
for those wondering, and you know who you are, the door is up because it is 100 degrees outside and the garage is an OVEN

we cannot believe the way in which the insurance company invades your privacy. Our home owners insurance people have never set food in our house!

Fun fact, we don't have home inspections for insurance, but maybe we should! Maybe they would have caught our deck before the great crash of 2023. Lady hopes the stress is gone soon for your Lady. Lee and Phod
Keep your fingers crossed that the inspector signs off on everything for your mom. As to looking intimidating, I guess some humans think, based on bad experiences, that size means temper.

When I switched my homeowners to a new company to save money, all I had to do was answer a few questions online and make the payment. No inspection was involved at all.
Well, we all love you Beau, so we don't think you look intimidating. What I think does appear intimidating is the 100 degrees in the garage! We have the same thing happening in our garage too, and our old cat loves that toasty feeling! --I hope your Mom gets everything done that she needs too, and a good report. Insurance people can be intimidating too!
You re definitely not intimidating - but then we have been following you since you arrived with the Mama and we know your secrets.... Homeowners Insurance inspections! Like wow! In my job we have people who do them for us on the ships that we insure but I have never had a homeowners inspection on our house.
