Caturday Art Day with Beau

See this bird? there is a family of them in our yard! they are making Mama Crazy. he sits right on the edge of the pool, this is not him, mama put him there. He sits there and she sits beside him and they dip their head down under the leaves, and eat whatever they find and it goes straight through them and out onto the deck. the family sits in the tree right over this spot you see and it is  a mess every day.
Mama is asking for help from me. I like the birds and pay them no mind.

Mama has made a poster for me to tack up, and she wants a Hit-Bird. When I asked what that is she said
hit·man
/ˈhitˌman/
nounINFORMAL
a person who is paid to kill someone,
She wants a Starling, and she will pay him to do you know what.

Which Hit-Bird do you like best? Will it work? She sprayed peppermint pest spray every where she cleaned and they stopped sitting there, but still sit in the tree. She wants Daddy to cut the limb off
Good luck with that MAMA. She ask bing Designer to draw a purple starling hit-bird and here you go. even showed the pencil. ha ha

That's scary, but I understand the frustration! A clever way to deal with it. ❤️

Hello, Beau
What a funny post, a hit bird.
The photos are fun too.
HUGS, have a happy day!

Those AI images are too funny. The bad thing about Starlings is they never travel alone. They come here in large groups. I can only assume that the fee for a Starling hit man might come at a very hefty price.

Beau, serious now, I think that's a Grandala - which is actually a bird of the Indian subcontinent, so what's it doing there? It's a member of the thrush family of birds... usually in flocks. Maybe an escaped cage bird? So pretty......... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

That sure is a pretty bird. Too bad it makes such a mess around the pool.

As YAM said the blue bird is a rarity...I was goining to say Stellar Jay but I googled the one YAM mentioned and I agree

... maybe just leave bird seed, bird food out in a spot you don't care much about to redirect them elsewhere rather than considering a death sentence ...

A hit bird - good one:). BOL

Good luck with that. Birds are very pretty but they sure can make a mess, even the one we have here in a cage.

A "hit bird" ... too comical!
We've only one starling (I think), but it seems to take perverse enjoyment dive-bombing our girls. (Close, but no cigar.)
I'm sorry about the mess ... is this a seasonal thing at least? I hope.

Beau, you need to bark at them and scare them away.
Sorry about the mess they make.

I like the pic with the pencil best, but not because of the pencil. Have you tried putting up wind chimes?
