I got Zero Walk for the day on Saturday

Da ABC7 weather app on Mamas iPhone looked like this.

The back door looked like this, right at daylight on Saturday morning, my walking time, the water was being flung at the glass door with 25 sustained winds and gusts to 35. the radar was red and orange and little yellow bolts of lightning showing. Mama said that storm is about to hit, I can do rain but not lightning. I said please open the door, she did. I walked out the door and she stayed inside and said, get struck if you want to, but I am not going out. I went right back inside.
don't worry, 30 minutes before the rain started going sideways Daddy took me out and I
DID MY THINGS
Mama did not shop at Walmart, we might just STARVE!
She said she will shop on Sunday, does this mean no RIDE to the park!

She just stayed inside taking photos of the silly rain on the silly door with reflections. Then they sat down and watched Rock and Roll Hall of fame, with lots of people being added. I did not get to walk. I have missed ONE day out of 5 years.... this makes Two... the storm came and raged for 4 hours. she could have walked me at lunch time, daddy said, he has already forgotten he did not get a walk. To make it up to me they ordered Pizza delivered to our house. So all in all not a bad day

I want to know, how did the kitchen cabinets where the crackers live, get outside in the backyard?

Four hour later, we ate pizza looking out at the sunshine

As if you would forget about the lack of walk Beau.
Gail tells me there was one day in Tacoma was it was wet all day and she and Marse did not take the dogs out for a walk. She says that in fact the weather was not so very bad and if she'd been back in Aberdeen she definitely would have gone out, and she can't understand why folk in that part of the world, where they get a lot of drizzly rain but not much wind, do not use umbrellas.
Toodle-oo!

What a rough morning you had. All that rain keeping you from going outside and then to have to worry about whether you'll have enough food to last till your mom goes shopping. Life of a dog isn't always easy :)

oooohhh you got pizza?! Tell your Mama (who is probably feeling cross about enjoying pizza right now) that we have just bought some flour made from ancient wheat - to test it on our wheat allergy grandson. Apparently modern wheat has been bred from crossing up all sorts of ancient types and has lots of extra pairs of chromosomes - and some researchers think it is this extra complexity that makes it hard for some people to digest. Mr T would have liked the 'science' opportunity. xxx TM

There are storms everywhere around the world of late. Must be winter. I'm sorry you had to stay in and you're going to have to ask your mom how the kitchen cabinet ended up in the back yard. She knows.

Have a woof woof day and rest of the week, Beau. My best to your mom. ♥

You were lucky Beau. Ours lasted almost 24 hours! Hey. we watched The Hall Of Fame too!! It was real good this year. Does Mama remember Rumble? Jimmy Page did a great job!! Plus, he is still alive.

Sorry to hear you didn't get your walk, Beau. It was nice of your parents to make it up to you by ordering you a pizza. Did you share any with your parents? BOL!

We had a strange night yesterday when the power went out at 4:30pm. It was back by late morning. Our parents were happy to have us keep them warm last night.

The weather is just so crazy!!! We haven't had a walk in over a week - someting about cold, snow, ice, wind, and repeat. Now it is frigid out there, even too cold for us Huskies to be out for any more than five minutes!!!
