Feline Friday with Beau on Final Friday FeatureAI

AI and Mama creation

Mama talked to my human brother, Dan, and he said the Feral cat Mama and the 3 kittens he had snipped and returns, keep them laughing. It seems the feral feeding station has attracted two local Opossums, and they all line up and eat together. Below is a cat that looks like his Mama Cat, found on Google. The photo reminded Mama of a story from 1974

When my other human brother, Dave was in 4th grade, Mama was at work, taking telephone calls for people ordering from Sears Catalog. Her co-worker said, Sandra I have Davids School on the line for you. The principle said, I have David in my office, you need to come pick him up. He came to school with a rat in his jeans pocket and will not let us remove it. Mama answered and drove really fast to the school because we did not own a rat or mouse.
Mama told me when she got there, David was crying and telling her, that teacher wanted to flush it down the commode, they were going to kill it and he pulled out a baby possum that looked exactly like the one below, through his sobbing, David said while walking to school he found a dead mama possum, and her babies in the road, one  was still alive and he HAD to bring it to school with him.
Mama, said of course you did, and said to the principal and teacher, you wanted to KILL the possum, you wanted to flush it down the toliet? OF COURSE he would not give it to you. It is NOT a rat, its a baby possum. She said if I take it can he stay in school? The answer was yes, and when my brother David got home after school, she had been to the vet to get a bottle and goats milk because they can't drink cow milk and had the baby in a nice box, with a towel. They fed it for 3 days, but it was too young to live.
Mama said, yes, they both cried.

We have decided that AI is an IDIOT because these are the crazy pics it created when she asked for baby opossums eating out of bowls with kittens.

What a sweet story about the baby possum...bless David and your mom. I'm sorry the baby died.

Sounds like your human brothers are chips off the original mama block. Good on all of them. Lovely pictures - even if they aren't exactly what you had in mind.

Awww, that is such a touching story about the baby possum. David was a kind-hearted young boy who could have taught that teacher a thing or two.

What a sweet story about your son. I wouldn't have given them the baby possum either.
AI definitely doesn't know what a baby possum or a kitten looks like.

Cute story, Beau! Sorry the baby possum did not survive.

HUGS, have a happy day!

I would have been like David...I think my girls teachers all knew them well enough to either have helped them find a box and found out what to do, or would have just said let's call your mom...

That's such a sweet and touching story about your human brother. I can see he gets his kind heart from his and your Mama. AI does come up with some interesting photos.

What a sweet story. It's too bad the possum didn't make it but at least David gave it a chance.

That's something about the opossums showing up to eat. I also love what you shared about Dave in the 4th grade which was not a rat.

What a sweet story and such a shame the baby did not make it.

As you know, we're not AI fans.

We have three opossums that show up at our feral feeding station if we're later that usual picking up the food. We call them Medium, Large and Jumbo!

Awww, Your son has your heart for the animals. So does mine, I'm happy to say. That's such a sweet story, but with a sad ending. We would have cried too.
