Nature Friday in the dark

B-eautiful, R-rare I-interesting A-dorable N-oble W-e Love you Brian

Brian needs some POTP (power of the paws) he is very sick.
Visit Brian's Home and leave some love and POTP

Mama was in the back yard with me for my first potty of the day, and she decided to try the night mode on her new cell phone. Above is out of the cell phone. The rest of these are edits done in the cell phone. The lights were on in the kitchen and were reflecting in the pool.

She had to PLAY with them, because she took the one photo and a loud, unholy, scary fight erupted on the other side of the fence in the neighbors back yard. Can you guess what it was? She made me go inside.

Did you guess it was this possum? Wrong! It was baby Raccoons that live in that yard with possums and snakes and Owls and Birds. it's a dark jungle over there... The reason for this Possum is, when we walked our morning walk, she saw the possum come racing down the line, out of the neighbor's back yard, like it was be chased by the hounds of the Baskervilles. It ran right over our heads and down to the next pole and disappeared down the pole.   The first two Possums are what AI created for her and she found the one on the line online. She had no chance to take her own photo.

She had the possum ready to post and decided to add the back yard photos with it. Those fighting Coons scare her to death... She is not afraid of this cute little possum.

These are great! I have never heard raccoons fighting before, or seen an opossum in our yard.

Pretty pool shots ... BTW, have you told us "what" new camera you have???

Also BTW, glad you did NOT try to get your own photo of either opossums, or raccoons,
young uns, or adults. They were all over our property when I lived in Florida and
believe me, they could be mean and dangerous ... and if in search of food, Look Out!

Cool shots. I would have been scared by the raccoons also.

Hello,
The night photos are great, I like the reflections.
I do not like raccoons or opossums, they could be mean.
HUGS Beau! Have a happy day!

I would be afraid that it would fall off the powerline on me.

The nighttime house photos are pretty! The first one makes the kitchen look blue. How on earth did Mama get this possum shot in the dark?? Did she have a flashlight? That would be hard to snap holding a flashlight.

We don't have raccoons or possums in the UK so have no idea what it would be like to have them as neighbours.
We do like Mama's nighttime pool shots.
Toodle-oo!

What a cool picture of your house in the dark. We wouldn't want to be near those raccoons when they fight either.

Momma often used to remark how different things look at night. I'd have definitely been uneasy by that noise coming from next door. I tell our girls all the time, they don't have to attend every bark fest,/scuffle they're invited to. POTP for Brian!

Those night photos are pretty cool Beau. Brian said thanks, he sure appreciates the kind words.

Yes, I've never seen a raccoon, but one chased my uncle into his house once. I'm glad you steered clear!

We visited Brian Beau - he looks a bit like someone we used to know. We hzve nothing as scary as fighting racoons over here. Just a few squabbling sea gulls.

Those black roses with eyes are scarier than the raccoon OR the possums! It always looks like you live in a nice neighborhood. Is there a homeowners association who could make the neighbor take care of his/her yard?
