BUTT it seems Mama was so caught up in photos she forgot Daddy's birthday was on the same day as National Dog Day...

We found this chart of names for black dogs on Pethelpful We gave you the names, go adopt a Black dog. I heard Daddy say to Mommy this week, if we were to change Beau's name, it should be BOSS, because Beau is the BOSS in this house... Beau Da Boss, signing off

Our life and days with Dougie Dog was an amazing time, though technically a Chocolate Lab his fur was so very dark, one would have thought him to be a "black lab" ... truly a
beautiful soul, heart and spirit.

Beau da Boss. Haha I like it. I bet you do too. I've had black cats in the past and black dogs too and never knew that people regard them as less attractive. Our black cat was the MOST beautiful, and he black cat that lived next door (name - Arnold) when I was at Uni was beautiful and smart.
We celebrate our black dog, Millie every day! She is tough even though her name is very sweet.
Big Boy was most handsome. Our last pup was black. We loved her so.

We also celebrate Black Dog Day everyday with Rosy and can't stand that animal adoptions are biased against black dogs!
