Mama was looking for a specific old photo, she found this photo of Baby and Cooper, it was March 2004, which made Baby 2 and Cooper 9. They were a perfect match for each other. Baby ran away from home every time she got the opportunity, Mama called the Rescue and asked for help. She was told Baby needed a playmate. Cooper was 7 and you can tell they were meant for each other.
A blast from the past. It was in a folder it should not have been in and never posted on this blog.
Baby was 10 months when Mama and Daddy found her at Telesis Animal Rescue and Cooper was 7 and at Bishop Animal Shelter SPCA.
Mama is so Thankful she had all those years with Angel Baby and Angel Cooper..
Baby was only 10 months old and had been badly abused, Mama and Daddy taught her not to cringe when they moved their arms or picked things up. When Mama would sweep the floor, she would tap her paws and say woo woo woo. When they adopted her, she would not walk out the door until they opened it and went in the other room, by the time she was a year old, she was pushing them out of the way to squeeze past them. Mama gets mad when she thinks that someone was kicking her or hitting her as he went through doors.
Daddy started doing it and soon they could tap her on her butt, or head and say woo woo woo and she loved it.

Your mama is an angel! Those sweet pups do look like they are related.
Your mom sure does know how to get a dog to overcome their fears. Love the picture of Baby and Cooper.
