They never let this sleeping dog lie.

Mama says her heart melts when I sleep,

OH WAIT! Mama asked AI to write a poem. AI did ok, but she added the last two lines because that is what they did, After they both petted me and mama talked baby talk in my ear

Don't wake the dog, he's having a dream

He's chasing a squirrel or a ball or some cream

He's snoring and twitching and smiling so sweet

He's the cutest thing ever from his head to his feet

Let sleeping dogs lie, that's what they say

But I really want to cuddle him and play

Maybe I'll just sneak a little pat on his fur

Or maybe I'll just leave him alone and not stir
