The Backyard, where we did what we do

We hung out in our yard for the 4th of July and I wanted you to see the 4 days of 5 minutes of rain each day did for the back yard. It has not rained in 5 days now, but we are hoping it will. Just a few days or rain and we will get our jungle back. we love our jungle. I LOVE OUR JUNGLE.

We are thankful for the rain and our jungle and our yard and each other. We are thankful YOU are here reading this junk, ummm post.

the ferns are now up to Mamas Chinny Chin Chin, 4 feet tall, we know this because they are halfway up the fence.
Mama says we live in the sub tropics and plants grow from humidity and our humidity has been 86 every day, add that to the temps of 97 and feels like 107 we are living in a huge
green house.
I must say though, by the time Mama and I are done with our walk each morning my tongue is hanging down to the ground. Mama keeps saying, it sure is hot out here, like walking under a wet blanket

I'm glad your plants, at least, love the heat and humidity. Fingers crossed about more rain.

It does look a bit like a jungle out there, Beau. We're having our first 90+ degree day today with super high humidity and our power went out for about an hour this morning. Needless to say, we won't be spending much time outside today.

Your yard looks like something from an Tahitian resort, Beau. That, or something from where they film Naked and Afraid. (Not that I'd know, lol!)

All that heat and humidity adds up to lots of photosynthesis!

You would never know this is actually someone's yard. It looks like a lush rainforest!

That "tropical gardens" look, so natural and wild is just gorgeous ...

All that jungle weather sure has made a beautiful yard for you. The weather's pretty much the same here, with the grass growing at record rate. Only our numbers are reversed from yours. temps in the high 80's and humidity in the high 90's. Step outside and your glasses fog up. I can only walk dogs really early in the morning, which means often only Chia gets walked - she needs it the most and it's too hard to take my special needs pup, LOL, and any of the others at the same time.
