Word of the day: dog days
noun | DAWG-DAYZ What It Means
Dog days is a plural noun that refers to the hottest time of the year, which in the northern hemisphere is usually between early July and early September. What his means it the same as I just said.
It's to dang hot to go outside. Mama is inside to, I do what I do and she does what she does. Which is FIND Yet Another AI thing to play with. She stumbled on CF Spark, and AI app that lets you type or talk to it on your phone. Similar to the one she has been boring you with. for the past 2 weeks.
She downloaded it on the gifted by the dearest blogger ever iPhone 7. She spends more time with that phone that she does with Daddy and me!
PS. WE ARE THANKFUL IN THIS HOUSE FOR AIR CONDITIONING BECAUSE WE GET THIS MESSAGE EACH DAY ON MAMAS PHONE
Brutal Heat Continues!

Yikes! Seems a lot of the country is either in heat advisory or flooded. So is this going to beat a record there?
"Dog days" is a saying that originated with the ancient Egyptians. It was believed the appearance of the dog star Sirius was directly related to exceptionally hot weather.

Ah yes, those lazy hazy dog days of summer. Not really something that the UK is pawtikyoularily bothered with, but I recall such days in the Great Down Under parts... although there, it was more during the end of January and into February. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
HOTZ we got 'em, too! Today, like yesserday: 96 plus an Orange Air Alert. Ugh, yuk, duh. ... we shall survive, right?
BTW: you don't "bore" us with all your AI play, it's amusing, fun and crazy-wild, keep on keeping on, girl. Cool.
Ah yes, the dog days of summer. Thankfully it hasn't been too bad here this year. Of course now that I said something I may have jinxed that. I haven't had to lug the one air conditioner into the bedroom window which makes me happy. I'll use it in the bedroom if I have to but I would rather not have to.
Hello,
I do not blame you Beau, I feel the same. You look cute relaxing on the sofa hugging the pillows. It is too hot to be outside in the heat. I have heard the term "dog days". It is hot here, the humidity is high too. HUGS, have a happy day!
Scoot over, Beau! I want to join you for a snooze.
We're having some hot weather here too but not as bad as our southern friends like you, Beau. It's always nice to come back in the house with the AC on.
It's to dang hot to go outside - here too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We also stay inside for most of the day Beau...Luckily, it's not real humid here, so when the sun goes down it cools off a little bit.
xoxo,
Rosy and Sunny
Hey Beautiful Beau
My feline nephews sent me a post that will be up tomorrow
about the crazy heat.
Hugs Cecilia
Hi cutie!
I don't know what's going on with the Country's weather patterns! 'So thankful we're able to stay indoors with the A/C ... unlike the mail carriers and UPS drivers. I don't know how they do it.
Good for your mom! We all need something like that to fight the heat.
Clever your mom is :) It's hot up here too, 93 degrees. I go out for a little while and I am ready to fall over. Like I said many times, don't know how I would handle the humidity further south. Stay cool!
Yes Beau, it's to darn hot here too and we're very thankful for our air conditioner. Just chill out sweet Beau.
You sure look comfy! Whatever would we do without AC???
