Mama popped her view through the blinds into PicMonkey for a fun background. |
Mama and Daddy call this view out our living room window, The Skyway!
We all three love to watch the squirrels run across it, several times a day.
Mama or Daddy will say out loud, Watch! the squirrel is about to launch on the Skyway.
and they both watch and laugh like crazy people. No Matter How Many Times We See it.
Mama hears them run across the roof having climbed the avocado tree in the back yard, the sound of paws is loud and I can hear that too, but not Daddy, from the edge of the porch roof, the * to your right, they leap to the palm, down the palm, across the grass to the Rain Tree up it and out on the limbs and fly up in the oak tree.
Yes, they do the reverse when leaving the oak tree, OR run across the fence and into the back yard flying from tree to tree, back to start all over again on the avocado tree.
Free Entertainment for us.
can you tell Mama was talking to her? she is fat because she had babies.
My Pawrentz not only talk to me, but to all critters they come in contact with.
We are thankful for our cute squirrels and their skyway in the sky.

Love it! His cousins up here say hello.
I am glad you drew the yellow path, as I had trouble figuring out the directions. They ARE fun to watch. We have a lot of them here, and I love watching them run across the power lines. So fast! Like circus performers. They run in front of the cars a lot, and will zig-zag to get out of the way, causing many to be killed. Phil & I love it when one runs in front of our car. He will honk the horn, and it's tail will go around and around in circles!
Neat entertainment!
Who needs TV when you have a squirrel skyway right on your doorstep?

That is some route they take. It's always fun to watch them. I'll see one occasionally running down the telephone wires from pole to pole.
Hello,
The squirrels are cute entertainment. It is amazing to see what they can climb and walk on. Cute photos! HUGS, have a happy day!
Squirrels are so very entertaining to watch.
Squirrels can be entertaining, but we bet they are tasty too. BOL!
Beau what a great skyway to people and critter watch.
Hugs Cecilia
I love to critter watch too. In our last house though we got squirrels in the house so many times and spent a fortune on it.
Here - we don't have any trees - so no squirrels, but we do have birds.
Grey squirrels are not native to British Isles - they were introduced here many decades ago and brought with them a pox (that they are immune to) that kills our native red squirrels. I, the Tigger, dislike squirrels. They are cheeky and theiving. And they run up trees to get away from me. The crows and I used to gang up on them and the crows chased them when the take to the trees or the house roof to get away from me. These days I just watch them out hte window and they jump across the stream in front of our house by going way up a tree and just launching themselves and hoping they makle it to a branch sticking out on the other side. I haven't seen one fall in yet. xxx Mr T
I've heard say squirrels are destructive -- but pay that no mind.
Their acrobatics and personalities are so endearing. You're right, the best entertainment, free for nothing!
Our Mama watches the animals in our backyard too, Beau! Although, she talks mostly to the birds.
Happy almost Friday!

Rosy & Sunny
