The Dogs Next Door Tales

Re-creation of 3 Suzy, Lucky, Lucy representing the three of them inside the screen watching me standing at the fence talking to them and their Dad.
Hi, this is Beau, MAMA is taking over my blog today.... sorry guys, you all know she loves to talk.

Lucy, Suzy and Lucky are three sweet Pitties that live next door.
If they are on the back porch, I talk to them, and for this story, Willie was on the porch, the three of them were in the bedroom looking at me through the glass.
It makes me smile, because they listen to me like Beau does. The arrow at top right is the door. I stand where I can see them, and they me.
For purposes of understanding the story, you need to know Lucky is an escape artist and a runner. and often races off into the wilds of the neighborhood.

I saw Willie on the porch and went over to chat over the fence.
I asked why the dogs were locked in the bedroom and not on the porch.
I asked him what did Lucky do this time?
Willie answered " I was sitting here with the dogs on the porch when I noticed Lucky was missing and there, he was outside in the backyard?  He walked right through the screen, I had to repair it, and now they are in the house.
one escape story led to another, we talked for about 30 minutes, and I laughed until my sides hurt.

first story from Willie.
Before they moved here, Lucky and Suzy, got out and were found running down Gilette Road by a police officer. He picked them up and took them just around the corner to the Shelter we got Big Boy from and called Willie to come get them. When willie got there, he said the Officer said, those are fine dogs, I just opened the door to my car and they both jumped in the front seat and rode here like they owned the car.

2nd Willie Story.
He said last week Lucky/Suzy got out and ran off down the street and he chased them for about 10 blocks. He said I was walking all over calling them and there they were, inside a screen porch, eating breakfast with the dog that lived there.
He said I walked up to the house and the Lady said, I can tell they belong to you, because they were all excited. She said, they are fine dogs, I saw them in the street and was afraid they would get run over and let them in and fed them with my dog. I knew someone would come looking for them.

I told Willie that a few weeks ago, I heard him and his wife calling for Lucky and went out to see if I could help find him and as I stepped off the porch, I saw a white SUV stop in front of your house and then pull in your driveway. There sitting like the King of SUVs in the front seat, hanging out the window, was LUCKY...
He was so happy and did not want to get out of the car.
I saw you come out and get him, and wondered if you know her.
He said, no, she a stranger, she saw us chasing him and picked him up and brought him back.
At least now I know they are friendly and love strangers and dogs.

He is lucky they have not been hit! Keesha was like that, and Itto escaped one time. Not fun at all.

Oh my goodness. Never a dull moment with those three. It sounds like they make friends everywhere they go though.

Hello Beau, you are nice to share your blog with your neighbor dogs.
I am so happy they are friendly Pitties. The escape stories are so funny, I am glad they were all happy endings. It is great to see so many people are so helpful and kind too. HUGS, have a happy day!

We're glad they all made it home safely after their adventures, but we hope the owners can figure out how to keep them from getting out.

Just like Bonnie and Clyde!
This sure warms my heart. So often, pitties get a bad rap. That police officer and the neighbor are angels on earth. Glad Willie didn't suffer heat stroke or a heart attack chasing after them.

Wow, those doggies will give Willie a work-out for sure. Its good there are kind people in your neighborhood that come to their rescue.
It's certainly one way to chat with the neighbors.

Interesting story. I don't know if I missed it but how do they get out and run away. They are lucky that they have people pick them up and bring them home.
