Grass Eater

I am thankful for tall green grass. Mama knows I need it sometimes, but she is not always thankful.
Daddy always calls Mama and says you need to help Beau, the grass is stuck again.

She has to PULL it out! I get it so far and it will not come any further.

Yes, she used paper towels and hiny wipes
She also reminds him every time, that if he did not give me fatty foods, I would not eat the grass.
Mama Here: I had to get up at 2:40 am and take him out to eat grass because The Man gave him Garlic Balonga and let him lick the Taco Plate. Yes! they both heard the words I TOLD YOU SO. And it wasn't Randy Travis singing that song.

For some reason, Daddy never does it! What will happen if she is not here?
that is MY question.
Mama Here: Beau has a cyst/growth just inside the anus. The vet found it 2 years ago when he had the torn ACL and Dysplasia. Vet said he was not a candidate for surgery.
We will be discussing it in his Annual Vet Visit in August.
I am trying not to FRET and also that YOU MIGHT THINK THIS POST IS
TMI!😁

Cysts are not usually cancer, so that is good! and some just kind of stop growing. Is that what helps to block the grass? You need disposable gloves!!! I have boxes and boxes and use them a lot! Saves my skin from hundreds of washings.

It would seem to me that since your daddy is the one to give you the foods you shouldn't have, he should be the one to assist you with getting rid of the grass.

Beau, mums are the best. Just nothing can change that. Dads are great... but yeah, mums are best... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

Hello Beau,
I can tell your Mama really loves you!
It is true some foods are very bad for dogs.
HUGS, have a happy day!

Beau - I too am grateful for grass but I tend to evacuate it at the in-end (not all to be fair but enough to make F not grateful for all the cleaning up after me that she has to to). I'm sorry that you have to strain a bit. I have just got some new 'hydracare' food (that is basically cold soup), but it might help things go through better. Old age is no place for sissies is it? Paw smacks Mr T

Why is it that the mom's always get to do that sort of thing? Your dad is just like ours and is squeamish about pulling things from a dog's butt. BOL!

Not TMI at all ... we dog momma's get it.
I always keep a pack of Baby Wipes at the ready. Hard to grasp the girls are litter mates: Grace never has issues with 'hangers on' but Macie's denser, curly furs catches everything.

PS - If the fret's getting out of hand, can you see if the vet has any earlier appointments?

Dog people talk sh*t daily, LOL! Bad, Bob, bad! Do. Not. Feed. Beau. Bologna or any processed meats!
(Don't make me come over there, cause you won't like it, Bob!)
Hmmm. wonder if that threat worked, it usually does with the dogs!!
A caring friend.
