Hoot, the Barred Owl came back for and stayed from 8:30 til Noon, came back at 3 and stayed until we went to bed. sitting 40 feet in the air.
We think he lives in one of the six more than 40 foot tall trees that surround our house.
Mama's camera hasn't worked well since she spill hot chocolate on it a year ago but
mama did a good job on the above photo. below is what the photo looked like out of the camera.
He is almost as handsome as ME and has the same colors/markings.

We have ducks, owls, possums, raccoons. We think they like the pool because of the drought we are in.
We welcome them. All three of us.
We changed his name to Hoot because he is such a HOOT to watch, or so says da mama. She managed to salvage 4 really good pics of Hoot.
