World Wildlife Day on Nature Friday

Above and below are pictures of all the Wildlife we have had in our yard over the 33 years here. Mama borrowed a few photos from PicMonkey stock photos.
We have had besides humans and ME
Raccoons mating Raccoons Fighting in our yard and tree HERE
Possums, babies and adults, you might remember my adventure HERE
Squirrels Squirrels and More Squirrels
Barred Owls, Screech Owls
Ibis, Egrets, Robins, Blue Jays, Cardinals
Mallards and Muscovy Ducks in our pool
and Last but not least
Twice we saw Coyote on our walk.

Thursday morning, Mom stood on the front porch and listened to a screech owl in the oak in our front yard, talking to the one in the tree behind our house and 3 doors down the barred owl was shouting out too. So amazing

Created by my Mama in PicMonkey using their stock photos.

What a great post to celebrate World Wildlife Day. So many wonderful visitors to your back yard over the years, and Mama's PicMonkey montage is very clever.
Happy Nature Friday!

Are coyotes scary? Are they bigger than foxes? We like (and agree with) the Scott Levy quote (not so sure about the accuracy of Mark Twain's - F says cats play with their prey in a manner that amounts to cruelty. I disagree - it tenderizes them, so we agree to disagree on that point.) We join you in pausing to think about what we can do for wildlife on this day. Paw smacks Mr T

Loved that you live in a real jungle.

Do you know what is the dirtiest animal? Asked Smokey The Bear.

The human.

That is a lot of wildlife. We used to have a lot of coyotes but don't see to many now since things have built up over the 16 years.

You sure have a lot of wildlife in and around your house. We hear Great Horned Owls in the woods behind our house at night sometimes.

FUN holiday, Beau! I'm loving that top photo of you and your new pal the possum.
Say, what do you recommend we do about the armadillos that have been tearing up our back yard?
