Powder Puff Tree plus ME Nature Friday

Since Its nature Friday with Rosy on Fun with the LLB Sisters and Jakey Too, Mama asked me to show you my most favorite tree in our backyard.
It is a Powder Puff tree and is in full bloom right now. It is bigger than 2 VW cars and Mama said she stopped counting at 200 flowers on it.

I love to lay under it in shade for summer , but most of all I like to rub my back and butt under the limbs. The limbs are 4 to 6  feet long and the flowers run down the tops of every limb.
Each limb connects to the trunk and hangs down.
she tried to show you in the above photo

The best news is, there is a bee on every flower.. They try to sting me, but Mama was glad to see they came back. She said our world needs Bees.
I don't think so but Mama knows best

This last photo is to show you how big it is. the fence is 6 feet tall and each section is 8 feet long, it covers 2 sections.
It love cold temps of 49 to 60 and blooms best during our winter. It blooms off and on all year but is at its best in January.
the temp at wake up on Wed of this month was 49 and the sun made it Burst with Flowers.

What a stunning tree! We had never heard of powder puff trees and had to look them up. They are called "arbre aux houppettes" in French!

Have a good weekend!

It's spectacular ... like something you'd see at an upscale resort!

I have always loved this bush. Did you know I have a computer folder full of pics of it? In the one pic, I see what you mean about the limbs! And the first pic with you in it, Beau, is so beautiful that it could be a postcard or on a calendar!

Yes, Mama knows best and she teaches us a lot out there :) Those flowers are gorgeous and bees are very important to the world, but best for you to stay away from them dear Beau.

You sure have a nice yard to hang out in Beau but yes, do watch out for those bee stings.

It is beautiful. I have seen some here in California. Are they messy?
Lovely photos and it's color is so pretty. I agree about the bees, I always like seeing them because we need them so much.
