Our first walk of 2023

Fog filled the streets on our first walk of the year on New Year's Day, 2023

As we walked, it was serene and beautiful and quiet. BUTT

Inside my Mamas Head there was a party going on...

Mama Thoughts  as we walked

Twice as we walked, we saw a coyote racing down the street towards us and hid behind a car as he passed

I don't move quickly, and if a coyote burst out of the fog, what would we do.

thoughts of raccoons, possums, rabbits, cats and squirrels racing across the road causing the lead sled dog to dart after them turning me into a sled.

Cars with no lights

Electric cars that make no noise,

Bicycles moving fast

any or all could suddenly burst from the fog!

Even thoughts of Jack the Ripper Waving His Blade, or those like him, passed through my mind.

the MAD Snapper Brain never rests

This is how The Mad One gets all her fabulous ideas and creativity. Wow, a coyote right in your neighborhood! I saw one on the news that ran up to a little girl and attacked her. They have managed to survive really well in the suburbs. Fog photos are gorgeous and moody and mysterious and quiet.

It sounds like your Momma needs to do something about that cocktail party in her head! Deep breaths!!!

Your weather looks similar to ours.

Woofs,
Ollie

There sure was a lot going on in your mommas head.

Hello Beau,

Your Mama should think about happy thoughts while you are out walking.
Love the foggy photos and the video. HUGS, have a happy day!

Oh yes, our Mom's brain works like that too. Sometimes Xena's brain does, and that's why she gets scared. She thinks the gate Dad puts across the bedroom door is a many-mouthed monster ready to eat her and won't come anywhere near it. Glad nothing got you in the fog, Miss Sandra and Beau! XOX Chia (I ain't afraid of no fog!)

Your momma just wants to make sure she has a plan of action if something pops out at you. Our mom is just the same. Always running the worst-case scenario through her head. That way she is ready (mentally) if something happens.

Oh I tell you a woman's brain is something else - at night too! Oh to be a dog.

Beau looks like you left all the worrying up to Mom you were having a grand time.
We had several days of fog recently too

I love fog, but it is scary to drive in...I had never thought of the other scary things it could hide.

You really saw a coyote? That would scare me so much. The fog is really cool. I understand your mama's brain never stopping.
