Take a moment and look at daddy's legs and arms, he got in poison ivy/oak with the weed wacker and had to go to TWO doctors and get 3 different meds. He is better now, the meds worked great
Oh dear, your poor Daddy. We're glad that he's better now. Thankfully, we don't have poison ivy in the UK, but are curious to know if it can harm dogs too?
Your city parks look so pretty. I wonder how many caretakers there are to maintain it. OUCH(!) on Bob's legs. I actually winced at the one picture. Thank goodness for modern medicine!
Our Mom is very sensitive to those plants too, and home remedies usually failed, so she would have to go get a steroid injection, sometimes twice, to get rid of it. Then she found out about mixing salt in with apple cider vinegar and rubbing it all over the rash...and it works!
Thanks for the fun flash backs for Merry Christmas!! XOX Xena, Lucy, Chia and Riley

Daddy must have gotten a very, very bad case indeed to actually go to a doctor!

I'm glad your dad is better now. The thing that amazes me is it's so warm there! We have to bundle up, sometimes even in the apartment. 😊
I have never had poison ivy thankfully. Glad he was able to get some meds to help with it.

Yeechhh... poor daddy. Still, at least he was able to take you for this clearly very busy 'inbox' park walkies!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Yes dogs can get poison ivy they can also carry the oil on their coats and give it to people who are allergic to it but it's very rare
I am glad your daddy got better...what a terrible time that was.
We only have stinging nettles in France, no poison ivy, and we gather that poison ivy is much more painful. Your poor Daddy!
I wonder if all my curly fur would protect me?
Woofs,
Ollie
