Da Phinney and Da Nelly, mentioned that they thought I might be waiting for the mailman when they saw me laying by the door in a prior post. I was waiting for mommy to open the door.
You Guys are Right! I am not Unique about Mail Persons! If in the yard and I hear the mailbox Close, I race to the front barking like a Mad Dog. In the house I stand up at the window and Bellow Really Loud, REALLY LOUD! I sound Vicious! you know like a KILLER DOG.
There is not a vicious bone in my body, and the Mail Person, not matter which one it is, male or female, old or young, I hate them all.

We had a mailman years ago that always carried dog treats. The lab I had at the time always looked forward to him coming.

My grand-dogs barked at the mailman and the UPS truck, just about any loud noises. HUGS, have a happy day!
We bark at anyone that comes to our house. The mail is delivered way out at the end of our driveway a long way from the house but sometimes they deliver packages to our door and we bark at them too.
Our mail/package people are quiet as mice we never hear them.

You made me say Awww and laugh out loud too. Our Angel Little Bit did the same thing with the UPS truck. We call the UPS truck the brown Santa. She would bark up a storm at the window when the truck came around. If she was outside when the UPS truck came around, not a peep. She wasn't a watch dog at all.

I never ever bark at the postman. I say this is because I am a Good Boy. Gail says it is because the postman comes to the front of the house and I am always in the back when he comes and I don't hear him.

We used to have a cat many, many moons ago that soukd jump out and grab us as we walked through the house. Or he would gran my robe and hang on.

Hey Beau, when we had two big dogs they totally loved the mailperson and would run with tails wagging! Love the kitty funny!!!
