My Dream Come True Sunday Selfie

Mama was in her chair, Chromebook in lap, Daddy was outside painting for 87 hours and I lay staring at her and telling her what to tell you about our walk on Saturday morning. I used my telepathic powers to tell her what to say when she showed this photo.

We met a Southeastern Guide Dog trainer with an 8-month-old Black Lab puppy.

We stopped and talked but Mama could not touch and I could not kiss, because he was In Training.

We also met a new stranger man and he petted me and loved me and I leaned on his legs...

That's all Folks!

You are looking very wistful today, Beau. Perhaps wanting to see those men again. Oops, I forgot to tell Mama in her other blog that the door fixing price was really GREAT!

Hello Beau..are you feeling sort of low? Are you wishing you could go back and kiss that puppy that was black?

Too bad you could not touch but I have seen similar folks walking with dogs in training. Such a pleasure just to see them and how smart they are

Great body language, Beau! I'm going to assume the position myself in just a minute!

I don't know what to make of those guide-dog trainers. On one hand, their dedication and discipline is amazing. On the other, I feel bad for the pooches. I used to work with a lady who was in the process of being approved to be assigned a foster/trainee. She warned us, if she brought it to the office (in a crate) we were not to speak to it or try to pet it. I moved to Arizona shortly after, so never knew what happened.

Looking back at your week Beau, we are wondering when things go wrong in our house if it was the gnomes???? We will have to keep that in mind when future events occur. Lee and Phod

If our folks would just listen, we could tell them so much! It was nice to hear about your walk, Beau, and thank you Beau's Mom, for listening! XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia

Those are great selfies, Beau. It sounds like you had a great walk even if you couldn't play with the other pup.

Cinnamon BARKS at all the new dogs she meets (she is fear aggressive). Poor Mom often has to turn and walk a different direction, especially if it is the tourists wandering around the village. Beau, you are a terrific dog! Purrs Marv
