Fence with a POOL

See that pretty blue thing with shadows on it?
That is a wading pool Mama bought for Big Boy to lay in to cool off. He refused to use it.
So, did I. No water for me.
Bad Princess, the dog next door, throws herself at the rotted fence when I am outside. she made a hole in the fence, then Mama said finally a use for the pool.
I am safe, we have a big chain-link fence for my safety, it is their wooden one she breaks. but then when she can see me through the hole, she goes ballistic.
I just stand there and look at Mama with Is she crazy?
I have never gone ballistic except a few times when the mail man RUNS across the porch.

BAD Princess!! Do tell, more. What kind of dog. Does she ever get walked? Does she ever get lose? Does she go after all other dogs? Brilliant use for the pool!

Hi Beau,
We see your Mama is creative not only with words and pictures. Let's hope Bad Princess does not find another place to make a hole in the fence. (Is that her real name, by the way?)
Toodle-oo!

very good idea... we have the same fence... the poor puppy in the garden of dramacula wrecked the fence to join us... now we have to cover all the holes... LOL

Hello Beau,
I am glad your Mama found a good use for the pool. That neighbor dog does sound crazy. HUGS, have a happy day!

It's always something in the world of dogs ... woof!

The ballistic Princess would be Gibbs too. He would go crazy but if he were to get through the fence and Beau were to try and get near him he would turn into a big chicken.
At first I thought the other dog had gotten through your chain link fence.

Beau, now you know why I, the Tigger, give K9s a wide miss. Some of them are simply bone-headed and nuts. I got grabbed and shaken by one once and it made some holes in me that meant I had to go to a vet. I think that face to face I dislike K9s more than I dislike vets (but it is a close run thing). Paw smacks Mr T

We never liked the idea of sitting in water either, Beau. It's too bad that Princess isn't more friendly with you.

At first glance (before reading) I thought momma had found you a new, gigantic ball!
That Bad Princess is taking the term 'Cougar' to a whole new level. Someone needs to give her a chill pill.

Sunny goes ballistic sometimes. Luckily, she is a little tadpole compared to the neighbor pups...and probably wouldn't be able to put a whole in the fence BOL!

Lucky that your Mom kept that pool!!

That was a great idea to put the pool against the fence.

That works!! You are such a gentleman Beau. I like this photo actually with the shadows and all!!! I tell ya, I commented three times at mad snapper and each time, the comment disappeared.

The link I added there is of a house in Houston (On the market)... My son has a real estate license too.

I'm sure glad we don't have a BAD Princess nextdoor cause I got left outside all. day. long while the folks were gone to work. Mommy didn't see me slip out to the back porch and dog lot when she brought Riley in just before they left. I mostly stayed on the porch out of the sun and I survived! XOX Xena
