it was Sunday afternoon, I was sound asleep on my sofa!
Suddenly Shrieks Sounded! LOUD! Screams, lots of screams!
Mama came down the hall and said What the %^$# is that?
I said, Mama its outside! in the yard! Will you open the door? Mama said come on, lets go see what all that noise is!
My ears pricked forward as I stepped out the door, my nose started twtiching and I said
wooooo wooooooo look Mama! What is that?
Mama said that is Phun Castle, the boy next door is 6 years old today.
As we both stared and the castle that was moving up and down,
Mama put her hands over her ears and I put one paw over one ear because I can't cover both ears at once.
I said In my big Woo Woo voice, Fi Fi Fo Fum, I SMELL the blood of little ones!
Just as Mama said "why can't they just stop screaming, why do they have to Scream?
I leaped up look over the fence and said
MAMA! There Be Dragons!
Maybe that is why they are screaming!
Mama said Its a birthday party with small humans and large humans and burgers and balloons and loud HIP HOP music...
We ran for the door and when I sat on the sofa, Mama said
"Beau, do you know what day is a dragons favorite day?
ChewsDay!
And then she said, maybe the dragons will CHEW the kids and make them stop that noise!
When dragons get angry, they get all fired up and they start spewing Fire!
I said, maybe they will burn that castle down and those kids will all go HOME where they belong.
Time to Vote! is this Fact Or Fiction or Both!
PS... we hope this post did not Drag-on to long. Now you can say fangsgiving it is over.
That is what we all said at 7 pm that night.
Hey Brian, we are thankful they don't all live there....Mama is thankful they only get the PHUN house once a year because the house itself is LOUD with the air machine that makes it stand Up.

I KNEW there were no dragons because of the third photo. That meant you had worked your magic, which is a sorceress creating dragons. They are beautiful and really, really look like they are on the bouncy castle. Who knows WHY kids scream when they get excited? Kind of sad that once upon a time, we both knew.
Oh my goodness, you totally had me Fooled. (I am only 9 1/2 weeks old remember). Dragons breathing fire next door! Well there was a huge fox lurking in our back garden when Gail opened to door to let me out first thing this morning and that is NOT an April Fool.

My guess was that it was all true except for the dragons. The screaming would have put me over the edge.

The bouncing house is fun for the kiddies, they were screaming with joy.

OMD... I know they have to exist - after all that is how we get big peeps - but really, squealing kids sets all my jangles on jingle!!! I have to confess at first pass I didn't question the presence of those dragons, because such things are quite possible on blow up stuff these days... so well done your mum and you did fool me!!! Been there, done that, so YES: I believe in dragons, they are real! And they do inhabit bouncy-houses that populate all birthday parties in backyards. And although they have
come with inside-voices and outside-voice which are accompanied by fire, they have not yet learned how to use their inside voices (and will not until about age 14) ... so all you will ever hear are those OUTSIDE SCREAMING FIRE SPEWING SMOKIN'HOT OUTSIDE VOICES!
MAYBE FOR A FEW MORE YEARS IN FACT ...
Small humans and dragons are made out of the same stuff. At least the screaming is an early warning system so that I can had for under the house (like an air raid siren). Of course there are dragons, but I am not convinced that all humans can see them or sense their presence. I regularly run away from dragons. F calls it my 'funny five minutes'. paw smacks Mr T

Happy April's Fool Day.
I hate those gyms - I worry about accidents - and they are so loud - unnerving! I sound like a grump!
We had the same scenario playing across the fence (Arizona) the same day our house went on the market. Before the kids' party began, I saw it being put up and started freaking out, thinking it was a permanent fixture.
I could probably handle screaming kids lots more than hip-hop.
I'll bet the invite for the dragons got lost in the mail Beau, they should have been there!
No it's not the dragons that make them scream. They just scream. It's part of being little. You did make me laugh out loud with the paw thing over one ear.

I agree with the above comment. Kids scream because the CAN SCREAM! They scream while having fun, they scream when mad, they scream when they see a scary movie, they scream when they jump, the just love to scream. I asked Faith if she could cover one ear. Only when I lie down, she said. Is that how you covered yours and didn't tell us?
Well, I'm sure glad that there weren't real dragons. You're safe now, Beau, but maybe you need some ear muffs next year!

April Fool's for sure! You got us! Too bad for you the whole things wasn't April Fools, right? We're also used to peace and quiet, and don't even have the TV or radio on during the day. The fridge and washer would be the loudest noises here if it weren't for the pups!! Have a great weekend.
