I stood staring at the tree, and I heard, Beau, Don't You Dare! Mama came running over and started to pick all the cherries on the bush. Since she picks up the avocados I can't eat, now she has to pick up the cherries that fall, and also pick off the ones ON the tree because of
ME!!!!
Seems Cherries are not Good for Dogs Either! So why grow them is my Question.
Mama picks up or off the tree this many Cherries every day, for 3 days.. She hopes they will go away soon.
She put them in a bowl, took a photo and dumped them in the front yard for squirrels and birds.

I do NOT remember your post about them! I have never seen the like. They look like baby Heirloom tomatoes, and tiny squash and pumpkins. They also look like they would make Beau sick, they are bright colored as a warning.
We know those as Bermuda Cherries. We didnt3know they were bad food for dogs. Beau, why can't you just stick to stuff that doesn't make you sick? Paw smacks Mr T
I didn't remember seeing this post. Those are odd looking cherries.
Since Beau can't eat the cherries and you have to pick them up and put them in the front yard, instead of moving the cherries why not just move the tree? I know silly question but I just couldn't help myself :)
Hello Beau,
It is good your Mama is watching you, some things are just bad for dogs to eat. I have never seen cherries that look like these, they are different.
I am sure the birds or critters will enjoy them. HUGS, have a great day!
That was really interesting, Beau! We have a big cherry tree (regular cherries) but there won't be friend until later in June.
Have a great Saturday!

Oh yes, I recall that post... But Beau boy, your mum is looking after you by retrieving all those fruits and I know that when she can, that tree will be removed! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
I would be like you and wish it was gone, or at least in the front yard.
Mmm. We think the Mama needs to grow a Beau-Garden, only with fruits 'n' veggies that big pups like you are allowed to eat, your very own special Garden of Eden ... and add
a little bone-tree for good measure!
Mom aka MAD SNAPPER went snapping crazy with the Saturday art and you Beau..who by the way is the star today
Hugs Cecilia
Your mama is just making sure you won't get a tummy ache, which could happen if you ate those cherries. Bush be gone sounds like a good idea.
Those are beautiful - do you have cut that tree down?
Oddest cherries I've ever seen. Actually, they look as if they'd make ME sick too.
Now that IS a good question Beau, why have a tree with things that could make you sick! It's probably too tough to get rid of at this point.
I can't decide if these are cute or just homely. Back in the 60's I over-ate cherries and became deathly ill; it's hard to even THINK about eating another.
BTW, Jack over at Ships Log posted today about harvesting blueberries with a rake. I wonder if that's something your momma could do?

Beau! Wow! You are sure intently looking at those cherries! Our Mom had never seen them so she looked them up. She says we are lucky that Cinnamon won't eat any fruits or veggies and us cats eat the rodents that eat our garden! We hope you and your peeps have a marvellously happy weekend! Purrs Marv
I'm so glad you have a caring mom. I'm with her, plant only Beau-friendly things.
Your mom sure cares a lot about you, Beau. You wouldn't want her to have to take you to the vet with an upset tummy, would you?
