We are FINE

I had to give my stamp of approval for Daddy to come home and sit on the sofa with me. I looked at his vital signs and said Sure, Doc, let him come home.

Ummm! Reality Check! Mama took this photo just 3 hours after daddy's surgery was over. His vitals always come back to perfect really quickly, or so she says. Here she is to tell you the current update.

Just the Facts, Mama! Puleezze
we both slept 4 hours straight, another 4 hours broken by pain pills. YAY
He is walking great, with walker of course and all is well, Just now 24 hours after surgery.
so far this knee is less painful than the other was.
We are fine, all 3 of us.
Nurse Chats during the long boring day gave me the answer to how the 11 cars got smashed in the parking lot last week.
Lyn, the nurse said the man came to work drunk and was fired. He rammed all those cars on purpose. That makes sense, because we could not tell just how a drunk driver could to that.
The nurse that was screaming over her car was because it was a brand new Mercedes.
Today we are thankful, for a successful left knee and that the man did not decide to come inside the hospital with a gun instead of ramming those cars.

OMW on Bob's PERFECT vitals! Woot!

..... and second OMW on that drunk driver. The possibility of him coming inside with a gun never occurred to me. (Goosebumps!) When I had to take Tom to the ER, they had me turn over my purse to inspect and walk through one of those portals to make sure I wasn't carrying.
So, if I'm understanding the nurse chat thing, they allowed you to come inside and wait during the surgery?

While satisfying to get a fuller picture on the crash bang story.... the winning point here today is that daddy Bob is doing great and that means mummy Sandra is probably doing better this time too - and Beau boy, thanks for bringing us the good news!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

I'm so glad about new knee, I can imagine how much better that will make Bob feel. Did the angry drunk man get arrested? He really should be put away for awhile.

I bet this knee surgery seems like a breeze compared to the first one.

Instill think m.j it is a miracle he did not kill someone with a car.

You are right, usually these scenes end with gunshots. Beau, I love your stamp of approval. So glad things are going so much better; maybe partly because this knee was not as bad as the other?

Hello, Beau

So glad you Daddy's new knee is going so well. Less pain and more sleep, both are good things. The drunk worker is in big trouble, the thought that he could have come inside with a gun is terrifying. Take care of your daddy and Mama.

I'm happy to hear that Daddy is doing well.
I'm glad that you shared the information about how/why those cars got smashed. What a shame. I feel sorry for everyone whose car was hurt.
Take good care of Mommy and Daddy.

I just had this unexplainable feeling that this time the knee surgery and post surgery was going to go so much better. I'm so glad for you both that's how it happened. I think I'd be screaming too if some idiot drunk smashed my new Mercedes (if I had one, LOL). I'm betting that guy spends some time in jail and be forced to go to rehab.

We can't believe how fast that knee surgery went! We send lots of purrings to Bob to speed recovery. (Purring does that). The smashed cars tale makes sense now but how seriously messed up does someone have to be to carry that much rage and take it out on people who have nothing to do with the underlying causes?

Keep Doctoring/Nursing Beau; you seem to be doing a good job of it. paw smacks Mr T

That's great news about your dad.
Glad you got the scoop on the parking lot accident too. That's crazy but you're right better he ram cars than come in shooting.

Up and about with the walker is great! The beginning of the first days of the rest of your life!

Whoa that drunk dude was one out of control man. Hope he gets to suffer some consequences. And how grateful we are that he didn't posses a gun...and that he was there before you were.
