GOOD DOG Gone bad part 2

The light on the SUV that is my Ride, had a bright red blinking thing that said 3 of the tires needed air.
Daddy said they did not, it was due to the cold weather. there were words. Later when things calmed a little, Mama put my harness on and we traveled to the closet Air Pump because of  TRAFFIC, which mama says it like a four letter word.

The red square is our SUV the road is the MAIN Road to the beaches, 4 lanes of

First we had to wait about 5 minutes because there was a man putting air in his tires.  that is like an hour when Daddy is in the car. he doesn't
Wait Well... The man kept going round and round and back to the same tires and put more money in and finally drove off, and daddy quit talking about how dumb he was and
Mama put 6 quarters, 1 dollar 50 Cents in..
Daddy got red faced and words were flying and Mama was afraid if he fell his head would be in the street. See Illustration below.

Mama got out of the car to help, I got excited because I was alone in the car, the traffic noise was so loud, because the speed limit is 55 MPH and 87,00 cars were whizzing, the air pump was groaning, daddy was , well, being Daddy and I could not hear or understand, Because Mama was screaming at me NO, Beau, Bad Dog. Beau stop, NO, while she was trying to  put 6 more quarters in
the pump. The no was Me leaping from back seat to front seat, sitting in drivers seat, back into the back, sitting in passenger seat..
They both got in the car and mama started it and the words were flying, and yes, i was back in the back seat, and we drove a long way with much ado going on and pulled into another station and Daddy kept telling mama how to park the car in the right place and you can fill in the blanks.
The Good news is, the second one worked fine and only needed 6 quarters and it was easy to use and made a loud noise when it got to the pressure, which made me excited again.
The bad news is, by the time we got home and in the house, I was limping really bad, and had no limp when we left the house.
The good news is, by the next morning I was minus the limp Plus now Mama says she will not have to ask daddy to put air in the tires because she found one she can use and she said
Beau you are never going to ride to get air in the tires again..
I said mama, The Weims Told Me to do this. It wasn't MY idea!
PS  from Mama, the pump was broken and the man we waited on had the same problems we did, 3 dollars and we got zero air, PLUS the tires were 25 not 35 which proved we did NEED air.
😎

Beau you know an awful lot about tyres (we spell it differently), and your human clearly doesn't know that we understand that the drivers seat is the most important one - so of course we are going to sit in it when left alone in charge of the car. I do it too. Paw smacks Mr T

Well Beau, to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure it was only the dog who wasn't behaving well in this episode.....

Hello, Beau

It sounds like it was just too exciting of a trip for you. Those air machines do make a lot of noise. It is sad people loose money paying for air when the machine does not work. I remember a time when the air for car tires was free.
Hugs, take care and remember to stay in the back seat. Have a happy day!

Crikey, that was all too frenetic for a straightforward car task - I admit I had a giggle at the 'cold weather' comment from daddy... but I guess it's all relative. Anyhoo, I am glad you all survived the outing! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

That was quite a lot of excitement. No wonder you were jumping back and forth in the car.
Wade used to tell me the same thing about the low tire pressure.
There might be some air pumps that charge but the ones I go to are free.

That was a wild time Beau, only humans would make someone pay for air!

I think Beau was all up in the 'air' at the price of 'air' that used to be free

Oh dear, what an experience! I know, weren't you just trying to figure how best to help the momma and daddy? I'm still not brave enough to try and fill my car's tires by myself; not sure my '05 model even has that red light fixture on the dash. Tom's does, but he always maintains its because of the temperature. Men!

We're sorry to hear your leg was hurting after your joy ride to fill the tires up. It's good to know the tires are inflated to where they should be now though. We think your daddy and momma had a little something to do with all that excitement, too.

What a mess life is sometimes...

Our tire store fills air for free...and even texts me for reminders.

That would be a scary noise, I'm sure.

Ps...our Walmart supercenters (with auto service) does air for free too.

Oh Beau - you and Disco are alike - you both love life and love to get excited and show your strength - but you have to both calm down.
Big Ten Tires here - you drive up and they check and put air in the tires free! Maybe you have one.
Your gas is cheaper too!

Our Mom had to giggle. She has had nothing but grief with "those" machines! (BTW they are $2 here - a twonie). Mom's new car sends her an email when it thinks its tires are low but Mom's problem is the software thinks the tires should have 45 lbs and the sticker in the door says 35 lbs. Go figure. Beau! Cinnamon say jumping back and forth is what us dogs do and thinking we won't is our Peeps fault! We love the shot of you in the SUV and we live the drawings!

We had a problem with a leaky tire and bought a JF.EGWO Car Jump Starter with Air Compressor (2000 AMP 100 PSI) The link to the product on Amazon doesn't work now, but it's invaluable, not just for the tires but for starting a dead battery. It was about $100 but well worth it when Andy goes up in the mountains far from the nearest gas station.

I'm sorry it was such a hassle for you all!

Beau you are telling stories just as well as you mama does. Probably wasn't funny at the time, but I giggled all the way through reading this.

Oh my, that was not a fun adventure. Sorry about the limp but glad it is gone. Keep it that way.
We have American Tire here and I drive up, they check the air, fill it and off I go.

Hi friend, Ojo here! That is a Very Big Adventure! It sounds like the hopping between seats was worth it - heh!
