After 7 inches of rain in 3, 20 minutes cloudburst, my Ball runaway was underwater.
I stayed inside on the sofa, and I did go out an pee a few times, but I went 14 hours without pee time and 25 hour of no poop. Mama Was Beside Herself!
Not over the rain but my bidness!
She walked me, Daddy ran me, she walked me, Daddy ran me 3 more times.
Can you believe July 3rd came and went, 12 inches of rain in 3 days and
my runway was Dry the next morning.
Sorry for the blurry photos, Mama got chocolate spilled on the Sport Mode and I am faster than the speed of the camera.
YES, I do play ball on holidays. In fact ON ALL Days... Don't worry, my bidness is fine, I just hate water on the ground, yet I do walk in the rain with mama. Makes no sense! Right?
At least I know Mama will never move me to Seattle or Scotland or England or anywhere that it rains a lot... How much rain do you get in 15 minutes where you live?
See that pitchfork leaning on the wall? My Mama forked all that pine straw in the path the day before the rain came... She Got Muscles.

I'm glad you are alrightm you worried me at first!
Gail is worried about the size of the 'bidness' when it finally emerges.
AS for rain, although our annual figures are high in Scotland (especially in the west) we virtually never get the several inches in an hour variety that some parts of the USA see. It's more a case of little and often. Even what we call heavy rain would not, I think, merit that description in Florida.
When Gail first went to work in Oklahoma she made contact with the local bicycle club and was surprised to learn that they cancelled the rides if it was raining. Then she saw what Oklahoma rain looks like!
You got a great mama. Go get your paws wet.
That's a long time to go without taking care of bidness. Glad it dried up for you and you could get back out to play ball

Beau, I love the blurry shots cuz it shows movement!!! Sounds you are just like my Jade was... she even would go on the porch and poke her tushy over the side so as not to have to get her paws wet but still get relief!!! I was always worried at how long she could 'hold on'...
As for rain - What Gail says is true, mostly. But this past three days over the Hutch we have had something very like monsoon weather. Coming down in tanker loads it was! Today is bright and shiny, though, as I await the arrival of Mac1 and Neighbour M... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Beau knows best!!
We got rain last week but none over the weekend. We get our good old Virginia downpours occasionally, that feels like a monsoon, but probably not as bad as Hari mentioned. You are a beautiful dog Beau. Love you to bits :)
That much rain is never any fun, for humans or pups Beau!
Goodness, I'm impressed -- both momma's raking and your systems control.
So glad to know I'm not the only one who stresses when our girls don't do their bidness regular-like.
Keep your momma and daddy safe in the storm, okay?
We don't like going in the rain much either but we do it because it makes our pawrents happy. You sure look happy to be chasing your ball on dry ground.
Beau I sure am glad you have long legs that is a lot of rain.
Mom got her cardio too
Hugs cecilia
Your mama is a bad azz lol. I hope this storm heading our way won't keep you inside for too long again!
Where we live the average rainfall per year is 13 inches. Not much at all.
I'm glad you did your business. Mom is right to worry. You won't go in the water and our Angel Little Bit wouldn't go in the snow.
Have a woof woof day, Beau. My best to your peeps. ♥
I can't believe all the rain you have had and how long Beau went without peeing and pooping! Pretty amazing that it was dry the next morning.
We are glad you finally did your bidness. Mom worries about Cinnamon's too! With this heat, she has been eating less so her poops are smaller. Took Mom a few days to figure that one out. We need rain. All the fruit in the Okanagan is drying up on the trees and this will be the 3rd year in a row they have had bad crops. Thanks for the joke! it was the best and today, we are hotm but we have not been over 40c (104 f)since Saturday. It almost feels cool.
I was wondering if you liked the rain. I wonder why you don't like water?
Hello Beau
Love the cute photos, you went a long time without doing your business.
The rain is welcome, we may have some this weekend from the storm heading this way.
HUGS, play ball and have fun!
Did the rains have anything to do with the hurricane? If it was like here prior to the rains, your ground was too hard to absorb it all at once, but absorb it it did! I bet the plants are all glad to get it, and smart move with the pine mulch.
