Friday morning I met a new friend. Mama and I were walking our street and a lady was standing by her trash bin, we have seen her before but she never spoke, in fact looked away.
This day, I gave her my stare, like the one above and headed straight for her, Mama tighten my leash and I stopped. I stared at her, she said aren't you a beautiful boy, and held her hand out.
I went to her and leaned on her leg and looked up in her eyes, and she petted and hugged me and talked to me in a silly voice. I loved her and she loved me.
Mama said, he is dane/catahoula. she said we have a new 6 month old puppy. he is a dane. they have 2 cats and a really old fat chihuahau, we see the cats in the window and the chi in the back yard, but have not see the new puppy.
Mama looked up catahoula leapord and voila, I am

I am not sure how the spots bled off on the pool deck, but then it IS all about my stare!

Sounds like you have a nice neighbour.
Lady said to tell you she loves the floors in the house too but can't take credit because the original owners who built the place picked them.
We know our mom couldn't resist your stare either, Beau. Maybe someday you and the Dane puppy can have a play date. He should grow up to be just your size.

Maybe you will have another new friend when that Dane puppy grows up. Riley has a little catahoola leopard dog in him, but not as much as you do.
